ADHD and Grief. TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️
Hi all. I hope everyone is doing ok. My mum is nearing the end of her life now. My dad died in 2015 and that was a mental train wreck for me. Im starting to see some of my behaviours from dad passing now its happening with mum. I know its been coming and I have moments of thinking im prepared and it will close a chapter but other moments of feeling complete despair. Like ill never cope when she has gone. Ive been working closely with her now for 2 years to get care in etc. All that busyness (is that a word?) Will stop ✋️ am I experiencing a trauma bond? What does thateven mean? If anyone has any tips and tricks to navigate this so it doesn't turn into a replay of 2015 when dad passed away Id be grateful. Wishing everyone a blessed day. TIA ☺️ ❤️
