Community Guidelines
Welcome! My hope is that this community is a place where every member feels seen, heard, understood, and supported. Thank you for helping create a space where we can learn from one another with kindness and respect. 💜 Everyone Is Welcome While this community is centered on adults with ADHD, you do not need an official ADHD diagnosis to be here. No matter if you have ADHD, think you may have ADHD, support someone with ADHD, or simply connect with the conversations, you are welcome here. 💬 Be Kind and Respectful Treat others with kindness, empathy, and respect. We all have different experiences, perspectives, and ways of managing ADHD. 🌱 Share Your Experience Feel free to share what has worked for you, what you've learned, and what has helped along the way. Everyone's ADHD journey is different, so let's respect that different approaches work for different people. 🤝 Support, Don't Judge We're here to encourage one another, celebrate wins, and offer support through challenges. Assume positive intent and respond with compassion. 🔒 Respect Privacy What's shared here should stay here. Please don't share another member's personal story, screenshots, or identifying information without their permission. 🚫 No Advertising, Self-Promotion, or Unapproved Resources Please do not advertise, promote yourself, share business offers, or post outside resources without approval. If you find something that you believe would benefit the community, send it to me first. I'll take a look, and if it's a good fit, I'll share it with everyone. ⚕️ Remember We Aren't Providing Medical Advice This community is a place to share experiences, not to diagnose or replace professional medical, mental health, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for guidance specific to your situation. 💜 Help Build the Community Introduce yourself, join conversations, ask questions, encourage others, and celebrate victories—big or small. Communities are built through connection, and every member helps make this space welcoming.

OASIS🌴: Acknowledge What Matters Most
In "OASIS🌴: Observation Comes Before Organization," we talked about pausing to notice what is happening before making changes. The next step in the OASIS Framework is Acknowledge. After looking at the space, acknowledge what is working, what is getting in the way, and what matters most right now. You may notice several things that could be changed, but they do not all need your attention at once. Acknowledging helps you decide what is most important for you, your space, and your life right now. This is the second step in my OASIS organizing framework: A: Acknowledge Identify what matters most right now. When you look at a space in your home, what feels most important to acknowledge right now? 💜💚

How Did You Feel?
Some people are diagnosed with ADHD as children, while others find out much later in life. Some may not have a diagnosis yet but strongly suspect ADHD may be part of their story. When you first learned, or began to suspect, that you had ADHD, how did you feel? Did it change the way you understood yourself or approached daily life? Share only what feels comfortable. Your experience may help someone else feel seen, heard, and understood. 💜💚

🎉 Friday Win! 🎉
This week, I recorded my very first YouTube video. I haven't published it yet, and that's okay. For me, the win wasn't hitting "publish." The win was having the courage to sit in front of the camera and record it. Sometimes progress looks like taking one small step before you're ready for the next one. What's one win you're celebrating this week? Big or small, I'd love to hear it in the comments!💜💚
