🎉 Celebrate Friday: What Are You Celebrating?
Today, I’m celebrating publishing episode 50 of ADHD Life in Real Time! 🎙️ When I started the podcast, I decided to take it one episode at a time. And somehow, all of those individual episodes added up to 50. 💜💚 Now it’s your turn. What is something you’re celebrating this week? It doesn't have to be huge. Maybe you finished something you've been working on, took the first step toward something, asked for help, created a little more peace in your space, or simply did something that mattered to you. Big or small, progress deserves to be noticed. 👇 Tell us what you're celebrating this week so we can celebrate with you! 💜💚

🎉 Celebrate Friday: What Are You Celebrating?
OASIS🌴: Simplify the System
In OASIS🌴: Observation Comes Before Organization, we talked about pausing to notice what is happening before making changes. Then, in OASIS🌴: Acknowledge What Matters Most, we talked about identifying what matters most for you, your space, and your life right now. The next step in the OASIS Framework is Simplify. Once you know what matters most, think about how you can make the space easier to use. Sometimes our organizing systems have too many steps. Maybe something has to be folded perfectly before it can be put away. Maybe you have several categories when one or two would work just as well. Maybe something you use every day is stored somewhere that takes extra effort to reach. Simplifying means looking for ways to make the system easier to follow and easier to maintain. Ask yourself: - Can I reduce the number of steps? - Can I make this easier to put away? - Does this really need its own category? - Can I store this closer to where I actually use it? - What would make this system easier for me to use regularly? This is the third step in my OASIS organizing framework: S — Simplify Create the easiest system that supports what matters most. Think about one area of your home. What could you simplify to make that space easier to use? 💜💚

What Would Make Life a Little Easier?
Last week on my ADHD Life in Real Time Podcast, we talked about "Your Future Self Will Thank You" and "Giving Yourself Some Peace Back"-and the little things we can do that make life feel a bit easier. So I’m curious… What’s something you’ve been doing lately that has made your life a little easier or more peaceful? OR What’s one area of life you’d love to make a little easier right now? Share below. You never know, someone else in the community might have an idea that works for your brain too. 💜💚

I’ll go first. 😊 My life is super busy, between decluttering, selling items, managing tenants, recording podcasts daily, preparing for graduate school, and just living life in general. Most of the time, I don't have the energy to cook. So, to avoid eating out, I bought rotisserie chicken and shredded it, made some black beans in my Instant Pot, added both with some canned corn and salsa, and made freezable burritos. So now if I don't have the energy, I can just grab a burrito from the freezer and heat it up.💜💚
How Did You Feel?
Some people are diagnosed with ADHD as children, while others find out much later in life. Some may not have a diagnosis yet but strongly suspect ADHD may be part of their story. When you first learned, or began to suspect, that you had ADHD, how did you feel? Did it change the way you understood yourself or approached daily life? Share only what feels comfortable. Your experience may help someone else feel seen, heard, and understood. 💜💚

I’ll go first. 😊 My first feeling was relief. I remember thinking, “Thank you, Jesus. I’m not crazy.” Learning that I had ADHD helped me understand my brain better and begin finding tools and systems that work with my brain instead of against it. That journey also eventually led me to become a certified ADHD life coach. 💜💚

@Cynthia Vargas-valinhas Thank you for sharing. How did you feel after being diagnosed? Answer only if you feel comfortable to do so.
🎉 Friday Win! 🎉
Last week, I celebrated recording my very first YouTube video. At the time, I hadn't hit publish yet, and that was okay. The win was having the courage to sit in front of the camera and press record. This week, I decided it was time to stop waiting. I published my second YouTube video even though not everything is perfect. And you know what? That's okay. Because if I keep waiting for everything to be just right, my message will never reach the people who need to hear it. Progress isn't about perfection. Sometimes it's about trusting that what you have today is enough to take the next step. So here's my question for you: Is there something you've been waiting to do until it's "perfect"? What might happen if you gave yourself permission to take the next step anyway? And of course... what's one win you're celebrating this week? I'd love to celebrate with you! 💜💚
