Now, I’ve built a network of 2,832+ friends And worked on over 100 LinkedIn profiles. But here’s the wild thing I noticed… 93.01%+ of people are making this one mistake. Especially in the Featured Section. Most of you are pinning your top-performing post just because it got likes and comments. But guess what? ✅ Likes ≠ Leads ✅ Comments ≠ Conversions Your Featured Section is not your highlight reel. It's your conversion zone. So if you're not using it to drive people to: Your lead magnet Your newsletter A free resource A case study Or a discovery call link... You're leaving real money on the table. I say this with love: That viral post isn’t building your business. Start thinking strategically. Use the Featured Section like a landing page. Because profile views are free traffic and you’re wasting it. So here’s my quick tip: Before pinning anything, ask: Can this help someone take the next step with me? If not, time to change it. I’ve designed and analyzed 100+ LinkedIn banners for coaches.
And here’s the hard truth: Most of them don’t work. They look “okay” but they don’t convert. They fail to: 1. Book discovery calls 2. Build trust at first glance 3. Showcase authority 4. Turn profile views into real leads Instead, I see this a lot: 1. Cluttered layouts 2. Generic taglines 3. Weak visuals 4. No CTA at all 5. And on mobile? A total disaster Your LinkedIn banner should be your billboard. It’s your free marketing space. If you’re not using it right, you’re leaving money on the table. A good banner should: ✓ Build instant trust ✓ Make your positioning obvious ✓ Get people to say “I need this person on my team” So let me ask you this: Is your banner actually converting? Or is it just sitting there… taking up space? Because the difference between a coach chasing leads and a coach booked out weeks in advance often starts with… 👉 A high-converting banner that does the talking for you. You want the secret to grow on LinkedIn, don't you?
Well, I have it. All you need to do is: 1. Go to the search bar 2. Type in your target demog e.g. "founder" 3. Click 'People' 4. Then click 'All filters' 5. Set your location + industry (if applicable) 5. Go to 'Followers of' 6. Click 'Add a creator' 7. Search for, and select a competitor (or industry authority) 8. Click 'Show results' Thats how you can steal other followers and clients 👌 I mean find your target audience 🤝
