Please roast my homepage
I'd love to know if it's clear from my homepage what I offer my clients. Do you think I need more detail on the homepage? Also, do I do a good enough job of building trust? https://zenafreelancewriter.com/ Thanks in advance!

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster I have a paid Wix site, so I don't know about that!

@Kevin Mwithiga Thanks for your feedback!
Poll Mondays: How are you getting most of your paid clients?
There are plenty of ways to get leads and clients, and most people do several of those. If that't the case for you, what piece of your flow is the most important for your business?

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster Your post was great! But, tbh, I participate in this group because I find the feedback useful and I like to reciprocate and be helpful when I can. For my freelance business (which is focused on construction and construction technology professionals), I don't expect promotion on Skool to be very effective. I'm planning a more general profile on Upwork that might be more useful to promote on here, though!

@Brian Diep Thanks!
Roast this community engagement. It's getting too cold!
Lots of roast submissions this week, not many roasters. It's not as competitive as it was in the first few weeks. Am I doing something wrong? What do you think about the latest engagement ideas? - The Skool affiliate link perk for premium - The support for classifieds post roasts - The free VIP contest - The second pinned post Maybe the problem is that I'm overwhelming people with information and overcomplicating the simple premisse of this community. I think I should let it breath more. I'm just having fun and testing things out, but I think I need to be more patient and space things out a bit more.

Another point about roasting... we don't all have relevant expertise. I like to give people feedback when I feel I have something to contribute. But I wouldn't want to give someone misleading feedback because of my own ignorance!
The cost of AI (in skools)
AI can give you pretty picture, but it won't give you a brand. The strategy get muddled by AI generate and loses it's point. "Its looks fine won't cut it when you are building a premium skool and giving premium services. That's like getting dated furniture to a modern house, it's doesn't fit the tone. Your members would notice, even when they can't explain it, then in 6 months, you redo it by replacing the AI images anyway. You need a plan that fits your skool from the start. To make it feel like a home that members feel comfortable staying there and becoming a client. Don't play fast fashion with your community. It's a waste of YOUR time, energy, and confuses your members. Love to hear your guys thoughts

AI can give you pretty picture, but it won't give you a brand. Who is your audience? Do they know that a brand is more than colours and imagery? (If they do, do they need reminding? If they donโ€™t, will this confuse them? Maybe they need to be told straight: A brand is much more than pretty pictures.) The strategy get muddled by AI generate and loses it's point. Get โ€”> gets AI generate โ€”> ? Itโ€™s โ€”> its โ€œIts looks fine won't cut it when you are building a premium skool and giving premium services. Its --> It Need โ€œ after โ€˜fineโ€™ and capitalize Skool That's like getting dated furniture to a modern house, it's doesn't fit the tone. Your members would notice, even when they can't explain it, then in 6 months, you redo it by replacing the AI images anyway. Is this a real problem? If they can try something and then easily replace the images, are they feeling any problem? Is it true members notice? How do you know? (Skeptic radar, haha!) You need a plan that fits your skool from the start. To make it feel like a home that members feel comfortable staying there and becoming a client. Capitalize Skool Second sentence: To make it feel like a home where members feel comfortable staying, and becoming clients. Don't play fast fashion with your community. It's a waste of YOUR time, energy, and confuses your members. I like the comparison with fast fashion. Maybe use that instead of furniture at the top? My impression is that you need to dig a little deeper into your potential clientsโ€™ pain points. Are they really feeling the problem with their AI generated images? What can you do that will really help them and be worth it?
