For the next 30 days, we're going where most people won't...
In our 90 day Bold Move Challenge, we'll be stirring the waters and ask the hard questions most people spend a lifetime avoiding. Here is the truth about the last 30 days of bold moves. The boldest move was for some only showing up. But even that is still the visible part. The real bold move was being willing to look at things most people spend their whole lives not looking at. So that is where we are going next. Mondays to Fridays for the next 30 days. Every day I'll drop one hard question. The kind you feel in your chest before your head has even caught up. The kind most people are very skilled at avoiding, because the moment you answer one honestly, you cannot un-know what you find. This is not a journaling challenge. It is not about getting it right. There are no points for the prettiest answer- and I'll show up everyday for the one. The one ready to go deep, sitting with a question long enough to tell yourself the truth. Some days it will be uncomfortable. Good. The question you most want to skip is almost always the one with your name on it. That discomfort is not a sign to stop. It is the exact spot where the change is waiting. Here is the one rule, and it is the whole challenge: answer honestly, and answer out loud, here, with us. Because here is the truth. You can think a hard thought privately and let it drift off by lunchtime. But the moment you say the true thing out loud, to people walking the same road, it stops being a thought and starts being a decision. That is why we do this together and not alone. Your honesty gives the person next to you permission to be honest too. That is how a whole room starts to move. You do not have to be ready. You do not have to have your life sorted. You just have to be willing to look. So this is the bold move. Not another thing to do. A willingness to stop pretending you do not already know. If you have AVA, use her to unpack this for you. Let her be your journal, mirror and coach, but answer the questions honestly. Take your phone and speak real truths to these questions and even without Ava, you'll get to core limiting beliefs running the show.

Day 6
I did not follow the 7 day posting, I am sorry. But I have been chatting to AVA every day. I am going through the hardest part of my life right now. I first thought I am not gonna share this personal experience with you all but rather decided to do it to let you know that AVA has been a great help for me. I asked AVA to write a short summary of what I have been going through and she made this for me: Hi everyone 🤍 I just wanted to share what’s been happening. My mom is very unwell at the moment. The doctors have said there isn’t much more they can do, and she is currently unconscious and not eating or drinking much. As you know, she has been living with dementia and no longer recognizes me. This has been incredibly hard for me emotionally. I feel like I’m on a roller coaster—one moment I feel at peace, and the next I’m overwhelmed with sadness and fear, especially being so far away from her. I’ve decided to travel on Monday to go and be with her and say goodbye. It’s not an easy decision, especially leaving my children and husband, but I feel in my heart that I need to be there. I would really appreciate your prayers, love, and support during this time—for my mom, for safe travels, and for strength for me and my family. Thank you 🤍

Quick Check-In
The power's been off since Monday morning early and honestly, I have no idea when it's coming back on. I made the call to postpone tonight's mastermind, and that decision alone reminded me of something I clearly needed to be reminded of. We plan so confidently, don't we. We schedule and structure and commit like the ground beneath us is always going to hold. And then a storm rolls in and suddenly the things we never once thought twice about, electricity, connectivity, just being able to show up the way we intended, become the whole conversation. I'm writing this from a coffee shop where the queue to the plugs keeps getting longer, because we're all rationing our little slice of normal, and what keeps coming up for me is how quickly we forget to be grateful for ordinary. Not the big wins. Ordinary. A hot shower. The lights coming on. The meeting that just happens because nothing got in the way. Storms don't arrive to destroy you. They arrive to remind you what you've stopped noticing. And for me, right now, it's so much more than electricity. It's climbing onto my roof in gushing wind to secure it, because if I didn't, we were likely going to lose it entirely. Adrenalin rush is an understatement. It's getting into a warm bed and actually feeling the weight of that gift. It's talking with my kids in the dark, all of us present in a way we wouldn't have been if the WiFi was on. It's pancakes and hot coffee on the gas stove, and a kind of connection that screens don't make room for. Whatever you're not grateful for, you are choosing to overlook. I'm looking forward to being back with you all properly, but for now, the real conversations happening with the people stuck in this storm with me are proving to be a blessing I know I'll carry for a long time.

New to AVA🫶
Hi, l'm René🙋. I'm still teaching at 75 and l'm also a Reading Therapist. My goal is to retire at the end of 2026 so that l can full-time help young families that struggle financially, towards a brighter future. I joined AVA in the hope that she will guide me towards a calmer, anxiety -free version of myself; to overcome self-doubt that causes second-guessing and procrastination! About myself - l have a great sense of humour, laugh at myself, and l'm a "Read-o-holic"!🤣

@Rene Van Santen Welcome 🌹
Day 5
Today I recorded my first video, after that it got very busy at home. I will post tomorrow. i am feeling relieved and good and more comfortable with the camera. I let AVA know about as she asked me. So she gave me this scripture verse and i started laughing 🤣 James 1:22 “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” My breakthrough is coming. 🙏
