🍂Harvesting Pride & Gathering in Sanctuary
We’ve just come through such an intense eclipse portal — and I want to pause to say: congratulations. We made it through! These thresholds aren’t easy, and every step taken is part of the alchemy required to deepen into greater coherence. The momentary turbulence is not random, but a surfacing and a clearing of patterns for purification, for the sake of bringing forth deeper gold, which is our essence and our birthright, a lucid kind of peace that comes not from complacency but from the ground of being awake within life. Thank you to those who joined our Fall Harvest Ritual last week. What we created together was so nourishing. As we turn deeper into autumn, I invite you to picture your own basket of harvest — filled with the fruits of this year’s growth. Before rushing ahead, let yourself feel some healthy pride in how far you’ve come over the course of recent months. For many of us, especially as empaths and sensitives, that pride can be hard to claim… but it is sacred fuel for the months ahead. I’ve pulled a short clip from the ritual where I share about the roots of trauma — how it’s really a separation from our nature codes, and why healing requires meeting a pattern with a greater pattern. You can watch that video below. And, as part of the Village, you can watch the entire recording of our ritual time while we are here on SKOOL (for a limited time, as I'll be transferring the free community onto Facebook soon). The paid membership will remain here on this platform, but it's turning out not to be the best place to offer public events (to learn more about this, watch the Q & A recording from last Thursday). And for those of you in Bend, I’ll be facilitating a free Somatic Soul Retrieval Sanctuary meditation journey on Sunday morning, October 12 at 8:30 AM at Hanai Center in the Earth Room. This session is part of the new Bend to Balance Health Expo — a full weekend of offerings focused on mental health and wellbeing, for only $8 entry. Hosted by Soundshala, Hanai, and UUFCO. I resonate with what you are saying here, in so many ways!

First of all I think Body and Soul Village is a great name! In my life merging body and soul has been a lifelong ambition. I believe we are emerging from a world of duality, where body or self or ego has always seen itself as separate from the rest of the world or universe. This emergence is now reaching a tipping point, both within our individual selves and the world at large. Its as if two trains are pulling out of the station, one is going back into duality and the other is bridging the dichotomy of self and other into a unified whole. That division has only existed in the mind, so in some sense its just bridging between the two hemispheres of our own brain. Yet at a deeper level its our own belief that we are separate from our Soul. Soul is not separate from Spirit, it's more an individualized aspect of the Divine Oneness from which we originated. This origination means we carry with us the aspects, qualities and characteristics of the Source. That is our birthright(s), our heritage. See if this sounds familiar, we've been endowed by the Creator with certain unalienable rights... Even our founding documents recognize this perennial truth. Why that matters to me is that this country was set up within a dualistic framework, one secular and one religious. Let's call it secular and Spiritual. I've come to see my metamorphic process as reconciling my physical existence in a secular world with my origins and True Self existing within the Oneness of creation. Body and Soul, how does one claim one's Soul? Just to be fair how does Soul claim one's body? If or when I achieve this, that would likely look a lot like a metamorphosis! As it turns out I recently found a way to do that for myself, it's called a Sacred Trust. Because I do Astrology, I've long known that the Astro chart reflects the Soul's intent within this incarnation. Not only does that provide a map for the Soul to experience what it has set out for itself, it also provides me with a map to understand my Soul. Using this as a premise, I used my chart as a prompt for AI to create a Declaration of Sacred Trust, pledging my lower physical self or ego to my Soul. I used ecclesiastical language because my ego recognizes and has a generational reverence for religious vernacular. So I create a covenant between me and my Soul. This document was then handwritten into a book so as to take it out of the mind and make it into something physical. Furthermore I then had a friend witness my reading of it to further lock it into my minds reality as real and tangible. This gave my Heart a felt experience of committing to my Soul and its purpose and mission in the world. I now had a felt sense of a path forward to "my" mission and purpose in the world, having resolved an apparent duality into a unified wholeness.
