Match Critique
Hello! I had my 3rd match this weekend and was wondering if I could receive some constructive criticism? If not, feel free to take down this post. Context: My opponent this match interfered with my last match at this promotion. Which allowed me to win by roll up (that match was face vs. face, but I didn’t get booed thankfully). Kayfabe, someone in the audience sent me fan mail asking me to “prom” since this show was prom themed. I bring out my “prom date” for a dance (forgot to mention the dance in my promo here).Turns out, I got catfished by my opponent this match and then we have a match. I told the announcer beforehand that in the storyline that I was scheduled to be there, but I didn’t have an opponent. But he announced that I had a match, so I had to clean it up the best I could while still keeping time in mind. I found blatant things I can work on, but I’m curious what you guys think. If I can provide any additional context, please lmk. Thank you! https://youtu.be/gsk6xrPBNNY?si=siELbDkN5DMJcGEh

@Josh Gerry Thank you for the time and feedback! I know I’m still green, but I want to get better and I know it’s part of the process. One thing I’m working on is not being in my head trying to remember the match. I feel like I’m too much in my head instead of being present and it shows. I believe this comes from thinking like an athlete first instead of a performer first. And the lack of energy and G’ing shows just that imo. Regarding my character, I want to keep the rockstar aesthetic, but get away from acting like the rockstar stereotype. Edge is who comes to mind for this. This is a work in progress. I’ll work on tighten those arm drags. Once again, thank you for your time and feedback!

Hi, I’m Zach Zamora and I’ve been training since April 2025 and got the green light to do shows this year (3 shows so far). I’m based out of Seattle and I was going by “Rockstar” Zach Zamora. A guitarist who was kicked out of his band due to undisclosed “problems” and figured he put those problems to use in pro wrestling. Since the debut of Lizzy Rain and us having similar vibes, I’m dropping the moniker, but keeping the aesthetic and revising some aspects to be more of me and stand out more. My main goal here is to become a better pro wrestler and get consistent, quality bookings. With how many promotions and wrestlers here in the Pacific Northwest, the competition is steep, but I’m determined to become the best pro wrestler I can.
Who's your favorite Wrestling commentator?
For years we have heard several announcers call every different match form Gorilla Monsoon to Exalibur. I began watching and listening to their calls from WCW, ECW, NWA, TNA, AEW, and WWE. But heres a question who's the best and who's your favorite?

Personally, I loved Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross as a duo. They were a perfect pair for commentary. They made big moments feel more significant to me.
