There’s a lot being built and figured out around here right now. ❤️
Looking through some of the conversations in In the Build, I’m seeing community names being worked through, new offers being tested, graphics getting fresh eyes, decisions about free versus paid, communities being reshaped, new builds beginning, and plans being made for Q4. And that’s only some of what’s happening. It struck me how much lived experience we have in this room. We spend a lot of time trying to figure out our own next move. But I wonder how often something we’ve already tried, changed, learned, or even gotten wrong 😂 is exactly what another builder is trying to figure out right now. As you look around In the Build, where do you find yourself thinking, “Oh, I’ve been there” or “I’m figuring that out, too”? I’m curious what connections you see. ❤️🐼

I enjoy reading others post to reassure me that I am moving in the right direction. I can see different perspectives while I am growing and changing my community.

I have permission to hype her, so obviously I’m going to. 😂❤️ Just over a week ago, @Lisa Vanderveen opened the doors to Kingdom Peace & Prosperity. If you’ve been following along, you know Lisa has been BUILDING. 😂 She’s been experimenting, changing things, following ideas, having conversations, and creating something that feels very much like HER. And today... SOMEONE PAID TO BE IN THE ROOM!!! 🎉🥳❤️ KPP officially has its first paying member. Lisa, I know you have BIG dreams for what you’re building, but I hope you stop and enjoy this one. Because there’s only ever ONE first paying member. ❤️ Someone saw what you’re creating and said... Yep. I want in. THAT deserves a celebration. Congratulations, Lisa!!! 🎉❤️🥳

Start Small. Live Well. is nearly there!
In between snorkeling in the lagoon, exploring, and watching the whales from the beach I have been doing some early morning work too (apparently my body doesn't know that it can sleep-in on holiday). I have decided that I will roll out the free community first, and then continue finishing off the Premium framework and resources as I see what members are most curious about. I just need to rewrite my About Page and then I should be ready to go. 🐋 Curious to know how others have done their roll out for re-launches or soft-launches. Photo: My daughter feeding the fish this morning. Not sure how we will get her back on the plane - she's definitely an island wildling at heart 🩵

@Donna Thornton - sure, the best advice is take your time and don't rush it. One lesson from all of the research, etc., is to not sell yourself short because what you are doing has value. It is ok to change direction, if that is want is needed. I am taking it in phases. I made a list of things that would be impacted for my community revamp, About Page, Classroom, etc. and tackling them without any true timeline. It has to feel right for you and your members.
☀️ Builder's Morning
There's a bamboo that spends years doing what looks like nothing. You plant it, you water it, you tend it, and for a long time, the surface stays empty. No stem. No height. Nothing you can point to. If you didn't know better, you'd swear it was failing. And then, in a single season, it shoots up dozens of feet. Fast, tall, unmistakable. Here's what most people miss, though. It wasn't doing nothing all those quiet years. It was going down before it ever went up, building a root system so deep and so wide that when the growth finally came, the plant could handle it. It could shoot up that fast and stand that tall precisely because of the years nobody clapped. The invisible work was the whole point. Fast growth with no roots topples. Slow growth with deep roots lasts. Here's what I keep wondering. What if the same thing is true of a community? What if the slow build isn't the lesser version of growth, but the richer one? Think about what happens underground when a community grows slowly. People actually get to know each other. Trust has time to form. Members grow into real leaders instead of just early numbers. The foundation gets strong before the weight arrives. I've watched it happen in this space. Members connecting deeply, staying through the slow stretches, still learning, and asking and helping, not building alone. That's not the sad version of slow growth. That's roots forming. The kind you cannot rush and cannot fake. Take a look at your own community for a second, especially if it feels slow right now. What if the quiet isn't the absence of growth, but the location of it? What if, under the surface where you can't see, the roots are going deep enough to hold everything that's coming? The members who are quietly becoming loyal, the trust forming one honest conversation at a time. So here's what I'll leave you to ponder. What roots do you think are forming in your community right now, in the quiet, that you won't see the full worth of until much later?

I stopped worrying about the number of people in my community and focus on the impact that I am having on someone. When we get caught up in the numbers, sometimes we lose sight on what is important. I believe the quiet says that something is coming bigger and better and the slow time is preparing you for it.

Thanks @Donna Thornton for letting me share this... Something small happened today that actually feels pretty big to me. 𝗜 𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗧𝘂𝗯𝗲. And honestly, the number isn't what I'm most excited about. It's everything that happened before it. In August, the channel started picking up: 𝟭𝟰𝗞 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝟭𝟱𝗞 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝟭𝟲𝗞 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝟭𝟴𝗞 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀 And VidIQ now has the channel in the 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝟮𝟱% 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝗞 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀. But when I look back, the biggest thing I learned wasn't about views. It was about 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆. Because when you're starting something new, your brain gives you a hundred reasons to wait. "𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵." "𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨." "𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩." "𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐'𝘮 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵." I had those thoughts too. But eventually you realize... 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁. You start. You learn. You improve. And confidence comes from seeing yourself make progress. I'm still at the beginning of this journey, but I'm documenting the process and sharing what I'm learning through YouTube. And now I'm curious about everyone here: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄? Maybe it's a YouTube channel. Maybe it's a business. Maybe it's a personal brand. Maybe it's something completely different. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻?

Congratulation on getting 100 subscribers. The one thing that I have been afraid is completing a new brand for my business. I always felt like I had to rush, this time I am taking my time to complete it.
