📌Welcome to Skoolology!
We're so glad you're here. 👋 If you're building a community and wondering... - Why aren't my members engaging? - What should I improve first? - How do I build a community people don't want to leave? You're in the right place. Skoolology is a learning community for community builders who want to stop guessing and start improving. Together, we study what works, test ideas in real communities, and learn from each other's experiments. Before we talk about your community... Let's get to know you. 👋 Your first step takes about 10 seconds. 👇Drop ONE WORD in the comments below. It might be: • A value you live by. • A word that describes the community you're building. • Or simply a word that's meaningful to you today. We'll create something special from your word and welcome you personally. ❤️ We read every single one. Your next step When you've posted your word, head over to the next pinned post and take the 5-minute Community Snapshot. It will help you discover exactly what to improve next. Welcome! 🌟 Community Builder Spotlight: Meet Avinash
Every Community Builder Spotlight tells a story. This week, we're excited to introduce @Avinash Khatri founder of YouTube Business Club (YBC). If you've ever felt overwhelmed trying to grow on YouTube, you're not alone. Many business owners know they should be creating content. They just don't know how to turn that content into a consistent source of traffic, trust, and clients. That's where Avinash comes in. Rather than chasing the latest algorithm or posting more for the sake of posting more, Avinash helps creators build a simple, sustainable YouTube system that fits their business and their life. His mission is clear: "I want to help business owners stop chasing more content and instead build a simple YouTube system that consistently brings them traffic, trust, and clients." Inside Skoolology, Avinash has become known for more than his expertise. He asks thoughtful questions. He shares what he's learning. He encourages other community builders. And he consistently adds insights that help all of us think a little differently. In fact, if you want to see exactly what we mean, look at what he shared with us this week: a full, honest month of his own community-building experiments, the wins, the real numbers, and even the one thing he'd do differently. That's Avinash in a nutshell. He doesn't just talk about building. He tries things, learns out loud, and brings what he finds back to all of us. That kind of generous experimenting is the very heart of what we're doing here. Those are the qualities that make him this week's Community Builder Spotlight. If YouTube is part of your business strategy, or you want to build an audience without feeling overwhelmed, I encourage you to visit what Avinash is building. 👉 YouTube Business Club (not an affiliate link)

☀️ Builder's Morning
Let's close the week gently, thinking about your own community, and a reframe that took me a while to believe. Generosity and sustainability are not opposites. They're partners. The most generous thing you can do is build something that lasts, because a community that survives keeps giving long after the free-forever version would have burned out and closed. Charging fairly isn't the opposite of caring. Sometimes it's how the caring gets to continue. What would shift for you if you saw earning a living from your work as an act of generosity toward its future, not a retreat from it?

First Premium Member - Big Thank You to Todd
I just received my first-ever Skool Premium member—an annual membership for $99. I want to say thank you to @Todd Thornton. Your post in the Skoolers community was timely, and the suggested communities to review shifted my thinking about my community structure. In addition, you then followed up with a DM like a pro, and that really got me motivated.

@Lynne Vella That's a great question, Lynne. 😊 We actually do offer both monthly and annual for our VIP membership, but right now we're not really promoting the annual option. For Premium, we intentionally focused on monthly because we wanted it to feel easy to jump in, experience the community, and decide if it's the right fit. We never wanted the commitment to become the barrier. VIP is a little different because it's designed for members who already know they want deeper, ongoing support. At that point, an annual option makes a lot more sense for some people. We're still learning too, so I'm sure our approach will continue to evolve as the community grows. 💜 I will tag @Michael Wacht as well to get his insight. :)
