I wanna challenge some thinkers.
This is for the open minded Ok. What is the definition of a god? ( notice everything in the question take note of how I have it. I’ll have a follow up question and I’ll reference this first question.

@Gilchrist Dwyer , I am indeed speaking my own opinion. I am referring to Saint Thomas in this instance as to a source whose authority is rather significant. Saint Thomas Aquinas is arguably the greatest philosopher and theologian in the history of the Church, his teaching should not be dismissed so lightly. And as to our full capability, it is more expedient to see ourselves as having no capability for greatness whatsoever. “He who exalts himself shall be humbled,” says Christ. As I said before, the image of God in man can only be restored by sanctifying grace—a gift we receive completely gratuitously from God and have no power to achieve. I would have you, therefore, define and clarify what you mean by “finding out what we are capable of”.

Good sir, would you rather have us talk over the phone about this question and discuss more about this at length?
All glory to Christ the King, King of the Universe.
We all grew up hearing the phrase “What Would Jesus Do?” Most of the time we used it to stop ourselves from snapping back or cussing someone out after they insult us. But let’s go deeper. Jesus is a Servant King. He loved everyone, no matter how broken they were. He fed the hungry, clothed those who were cold, and forgave anyone who asked for mercy. Look at St. Dismas, the Good Thief. Even as Jesus was beaten, battered, and dying, Dismas begged Him for forgiveness. And Jesus, with a heart completely open, forgave him. On the Cross Christ even forgave the people who hated Him and nailed Him there. That is what it means to be a Servant King. He leads by example. So when I see people holding “No Kings Day” rallies, the message is missing the truth. You do serve a king. Every single one of us does. You either serve Christ the King, or you serve the king of lies, which is sin, the world, and death. Maybe the sign should say: “No Kings Day… except for the King of the Universe.” Because one day every knee will bow to Christ the King. It is never too late to give your heart and your suffering to Jesus. He will love you no matter what you have done. And today is a perfect day to go to church, because the Church is a hospital for sinners. We are all sick and in need of our medicine. God bless everyone. Christ is King.
Deo gratias!

Hey everyone my name is Henry. A little about me is that I’m currently in the Paramedic program in California. I’m looking to either join a fire department or to join the Airforce and be a PJ. I wouldn’t say I’m weak by any means but definitely need to improve. I’m excited to be here and looking forward to getting stronger both physically and spiritually!

My name is Chris Jones, I’m looking forward to being part of this community. A bit about me, I am an Outdoor Educator in Western North Carolina. I’m a Marine Corps veteran. I’m looking for a community of Catholic men that want to do better, to push back against the zeitgeist of the secular culture in our country, to be better husbands and fathers.
