COMMUNITY RUNDOWN
🟢 PURPOSE - The purpose of this community is to bring together Catholic men who are simply sick and tired of living under the thumb of Leftist culture. You put on a mask in public because you fear being judged, or canceled, you went to college because you were supposed to, and you work a job you don't love because you just want to make enough money to provide. - The Catholic communities you've been a part of are very nice...the other guys are good Catholic men. BUT...there's not a strong desire to level up. To be be fulfilled in your labor. To become financially independent. To be jacked. To be socially atrractive. To be the best version of yourself. ❓ WHY DOES THIS MATTER? - IT IS OUR BELIEF that the best way to push the needle back towards tradition is for Catholic men to crush it in life. Being on top of their game in all areas is what truly inspires others. And by others I mean people who don't think like us. - This means they don't trade their values for a paycheck - they either work for a company with similar values, or do their own thing. They don't allow themselves to be out of shape - it's not inspiring. They don't allow themselves to be awkward - social attractiveness is necessary for evangilizing. - If we're TRULY going to win back the culture, we're going to do so through influence. But to be influential, we need to be exceptional. 🟢 PATH The path towards this goal is simple: 1. Get in Shape 2. Figure out what you're meant to do in life 3. Learn how to monetize it 4. Do that as much as you can while fulfilling familial duties 5. Do it at an exceptional standard so you influence others - This community will act as a hub for us to inpire others, form connections, and build each other up. We want each other to win. 🟢 PROGRESS Each Tier of the Based & Built Academy has Levels. The courses at each level are designed to help you self-develop in a variety of areas. Take what you can at each level, implement it, and progress to the next level. When you're ready, you can apply to the next Tier where more training, resources and mentorship is available to help you keep growing.

Sunday Thoughts
If the second coming of Our Lord was to happen today, how would your priorities change? Make use of the time that has been given to you, and let those changes happen now. Pray that I may not be a hypocrite in this statement.

Meal Prep Without the Stress
guys hear 'meal prep' and thSimple meal prepping... yawn. Until you realize how much time and junk food it actually saves you Most busy guys hear 'meal prep' and think hours of cooking and Tupperware everywhere. But trust me, keep it simple Step 1 : Pick a day when you've got about an hour. That's it Step 2 : Choose two proteins. Think chicken thighs and some ground beef. Cook 'em up with basic spices. Salt, pepper, garlic powder. Done Step 3 : Three veggies. Grab whatever's on sale, roast them on a sheet pan with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Batch those greens, bro Step 4 : One carb source. Rice or sweet potatoes. Both versatile and easy to match with any meal Step 5 : Mix and match. Toss a protein, veggie, and carb in a container. That's your lunch or dinner No fancy recipes, no gastronomical adventures. Just real, whole food Keeps you on track physically and mentally focused. Plus, you won't be tempted by whatever junk food is lurking in the office kitchen or at home St. Paul said, in 1 Corinthians 10:31, 'Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.' Yeah that includes meal prep too Eat strong to stay strong. Simple Hope this helps. God bless
Using Advent to Start New Year's Resolutions (and BJJ training Plan)
This advent I decided to use this time, as I prepare for Christ, to prepare my time better. I decided to write some SMART goals. One was, by the end of the first week I would restrict my worst apps - instagram especially - so I wouldn't scroll constantly. I also just listened to an episode of Pints with Aquinas with the founder of Shift. I don't think I'm ready for shift yet, but I restricted the apps on my phone (10 mins a day for all social media apps). Another SMART goal is to create a workout plan for jiu jitsu. I just started it but found that I have trouble retaining the info I learn in my classes. I came back on this app to keep myself accountable. If anybody else here has the same goal of getting better at BJJ, I'd like to connect! I don't want this to be another doom scrolling app but a tool to improve myself.
