First time trying weighted pullups (I almost died)
A friend of mine can do almost 100 (!) lbs 1RM so I decided to try 50 lbs with my kids: https://www.instagram.com/p/DYm7ZNDukh_/ How did I do? 😁 I was sore for two days beyond belief.
😑Life's been busy
Hi Warriors! Hope you're all doing well! Quick update from my end as I've been a bit quiet lately. I'm currently putting a lot of energy into growing my coaching business full time here in Zürich. Big move, lots going on but I'm fired up. 🔥 And no, I haven't forgotten about you. The Pull Up YouTube Guide is in the works and it will cover everything from your very first rep to pushing well beyond that. Worth the wait. 💪🏽 On the injury front... my elbow decided it wanted company. 🥹😂 Some of you know I'm being coached by an elite calisthenics and gymnastics coach. We're working on some seriously advanced skills: Rings Maltese and Victorians. Both demand incredibly strong tendons and connective tissue. Right now my right shoulder is sending some signals, most likely pecs, biceps or back muscles under too much load. So for now I'm dialing it back, working with bands and focusing on rehab. Smart over stubborn. 😤 The journey continues. Quitting is not an option. Saludos, Coach G

Glad to hear from you! Looking forward to more crazy calisthenics from you Always good to have real people coaching. As someone who works on the computer too much, it's always a pleasure to deal with real people. (I know people envy my job, but there is a dark side of it too!)
1-minute plank with my two kids
Form is far from perfect, but parenting has taught me that perfection is a fantasy. Hoping I can build it to 5 minutes!
🔥APRIL - 8 MIN CORE WORKOUT CHALLENGE
Hi Warriors! Real talk, Davinci Resolve is no joke. Spent way too long figuring out backwards counting timers... but hey, never stop learning! 😂 Shout out to @Robin Schnider for volunteering as Tribute.. Anyway...for April I've prepared the core workout challenge. Which is live! 🥳 Here's what you're getting into: ⏱ Duration: 8 minutes 💪 Work: 30 sec 🔄 Transition: 10 sec Exercises: 1. Shoulder Taps 2. Hollow Body Hold 3. Plank Start with as many rounds as you feel comfortable with and build from there. By the end of April, everyone who sticks with it will have a noticeably stronger core and what feels brutal today will start to feel easy. 🔥 I use this timer for my Interval Trainings: https://apps.apple.com/ch/app/interval-timer-tabata-timer/id406473568?l=de-DE Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday! Did the routine today for the first time (I still wanted to focus in pullups, did 180 this week), quite nice The hollow body hold was tough, many times I had to come down, mostly because I train the other two often. I think in general my abs are weak compared to my back, so this is a nice addition. Anything else you recommend for abs? I've been doing some pullups with knees bent and also is helping

@George Santos sorry, I meant strength in the abs but mostly front of the body, not back/hamstring which are dominant for me. No the visible abs. I'm doing that on the dip station and while I do deadhangs, bringing the legs up. Just a few days in but definitely helps

Yesterday I started doing handstands again after a long hiatus. It was fun! Could hold a few seconds. I might document my journey from 3 seconds (yesterday) back to 30-60 seconds. Let me see how that goes!
