How to train for fingers strength
for those who train fingertip strength for stuff like fingertip handstands or planche, how do you actually train it? like what exercises/progressions do you use to build enough finger strength to support your bodyweight, and how often do you train it? also is there a difference between training finger strength for fingertip handstands vs planche?
Planche update
Happy to say that my planche press combos are becoming more fluid. 🥳 Appreciate your guidance! @Julian Pagel 🤝🤸🏾 Combo starts at 00:30 😮‍💨

@George Santos ahh yeah i get what you mean, so the lean is basically helping you learn that shoulder flexion + protraction combination while keeping PPT, instead of just thinking about leaning forward. when you go back to your harder planche work after doing this technique work, do you consciously use the same cues during your hard holds/combos, or do you try to let the technique work make that activation more automatic?

@George Santos yeahh, Ok. so the easier technique work is basically there to groove the right activation without needing to force every cue at high intensity, then ideally it carries over automatically when the intensity goes up. appreciate the clarification 🙏
Autoregulation help
for those who autoregulate planche training, how do you actually decide what to change on a given day? for example, if the main progression is normally going well but i feel a bit worse than usual, how do you decide between: - keeping the same progression but doing fewer sets - switching to an easier progression - keeping the volume but lowering intensity - or ending planche work altogether? and what objective signs do you use to make that decision (hold quality, seconds, shaking, RIR, performance compared to previous sessions, etc.) rather than just going by how you feel? also, how do you handle this across a week with hard/medium/technique days? do you keep the day types fixed and autoregulate the dose within them, or change the whole session depending on readiness?

@Mk Duma yeah i agree with using performance against your baseline more than just how you feel. im curious though, why do you prefer dropping intensity rather than volume when performance is noticeably down? for example, if someone normally gets 6–8s on a progression but is only getting 4–5s, would you make the progression easier and keep roughly the same amount of work, or is there a reason you prefer lowering intensity specifically?

@Mk Duma yeah that makes sense bro, i see what you mean now. basically youre trying to preserve the amount of quality practice while using the progression as the intensity dial, instead of just doing less work. and i agree that forcing the harder variation when the form is already dropping can just reinforce bad positions. appreciate the explanation

Hi warriors, I hope you all had a wonderful week — wherever you are 🙏 How’s training going so far? Making progress, feeling stuck, or need a bit of guidance? Let me know in the comments 😊🫱🏾‍🫲🏾 A few days ago, I asked which skill you’re currently working on and it looks like the HANDSTAND is the clear winner right now. If you’re new here, feel free to check out the original post:https://www.skool.com/calisthenics-made-easy-8541/which-skill-are-you-currently-working-on?p=d8504e1a To better understand where everyone stands, I’ve added a quick poll so we can get a clearer picture of your current level. Thanks a lot for participating — I really appreciate it ❤️ Saludos, Coach G

hey everyone, i’m Allan been training calisthenics for a while, mainly focused on strength and skills. i can do 90° HSPUs and bent-arm front lever, and i’m working on explosive pulling, weighted pull-ups, OAH, and planche. next 90 days: make solid progress towards full planche and improve my OAH. outside of training, i’m really into learning about calisthenics programming and optimizing my training.

@George Santos haha appreciate it bro 🙌 yeah i’ve been getting more into planche lately too, still mainly working on building the strength before pushing too far into the harder progressions. super adv tuck looks sick tho 😂 my ig is 1armfrontlever and nah no videos lol mb
