WHY feels like it should help. But when we’re blocked, overwhelmed, or in a loop… WHY becomes a psychological quicksand. “Why is this happening?” “Why can’t I move forward?” “Why am I still stuck?” WHY doesn’t reveal insight — it creates narratives. And most narratives are just emotional fiction wearing a lab coat. WHY reinforces the problem. It makes the pattern feel older, heavier, and more permanent than it is. 🔥 The Moment This Became Unavoidable Truth for Me Decades ago, I hit a brutal writer’s block. I couldn’t write a single sentence. And all I asked myself was WHY: “Why can’t I write?” “Why did I lose it?” “Why am I blocked?” Each WHY made the block grow roots. I became convinced something deep “happened” — a mysterious psychological shift I had to uncover. Until someone wiser said: “Stop asking why. Write anything. Break the pattern.” So I did. Fragments. Half-formed thoughts. Random sentences. The block dissolved — not because I found a reason… but because I changed the structure I was running.
