Let’s Welcome Jennifer! 🎉
Welcome, @Jennifer Shipman ! We're so glad you're here. And thank you to @Avinash Khatri for sending you our way. Hearing that our About page resonated with you made my day. I hope you'll find plenty of ideas here as you design a paid offer that feels like a natural next step for your members. Looking forward to learning alongside you.

Welcome to the group!
☕ Common Ground
Let's have a little fun today... What's something you loved as a kid that still makes you smile today? Maybe it's... 🚲 Riding your bike until the streetlights came on. 📚 A favorite book. 🎲 A board game. 🍦 A summer treat. 🎵 A song. 📺 A TV show. 🌳 Climbing trees. 🎨 Coloring, building, collecting...or something completely different. Some things never really leave us. 😊 I'll go first in the comments. 👇 Your turn! We'd love to hear yours.

Now I’ll play the game. 🤣 It’s not something I do for fun actually, but when I was a kid my uncle and I would go looking for acorns. (Sadly he did not recall this) whenever I see an acorn I think of him. It always brings me to pause, Enjoy the memory and brings a smile to my face. The other thing that’s similar to that is when I find a dime. I used to find change and keep it so when the ice cream man came I could get an ice cream. When we heard his bell I’d go diving under the couch cushions everywhere I could to look for change. And dimes were like gold. Smaller that a penny yet 10x more valuable! Always seemed special to me. Plus I’ve always preferred the shine of silver. (Which actually is funny because as I wrote that I realized that I love the look of gray (white) the most, and Scottie’s color is chestnut which is like a penny. And there are so many chestnut horses named penny.

@Donna Thornton thank you. Since we’re on the topic, I can’t leave you thinking that’s all of them lol. Fetti has a one year older full sister, Lily, hence the mini Lily name. Lily has a daughter Mellie. Watching the two together makes my heart so happy. They stand right next to each other. They don’t really move each other the way horses do to explain herd placement. They groom each other daily. And they loved to be touched by humans. You don’t have to catch them or anything. They will stop chewing food if you start petting them. And if you don’t get the right spot, the will put that spot where your hands are. And, if one of them is super enjoying her scratches and she can reach, she’ll turn and groom me in return. I just adore my mares! There’s also Piero who shares the paddock with the mini. Mellie first then her mama Lily and then Lily and Piero .
🌟 Community Builder Spotlight: Meet Avinash
Every Community Builder Spotlight tells a story. This week, we're excited to introduce @Avinash Khatri founder of YouTube Business Club (YBC). If you've ever felt overwhelmed trying to grow on YouTube, you're not alone. Many business owners know they should be creating content. They just don't know how to turn that content into a consistent source of traffic, trust, and clients. That's where Avinash comes in. Rather than chasing the latest algorithm or posting more for the sake of posting more, Avinash helps creators build a simple, sustainable YouTube system that fits their business and their life. His mission is clear: "I want to help business owners stop chasing more content and instead build a simple YouTube system that consistently brings them traffic, trust, and clients." Inside Skoolology, Avinash has become known for more than his expertise. He asks thoughtful questions. He shares what he's learning. He encourages other community builders. And he consistently adds insights that help all of us think a little differently. In fact, if you want to see exactly what we mean, look at what he shared with us this week: a full, honest month of his own community-building experiments, the wins, the real numbers, and even the one thing he'd do differently. That's Avinash in a nutshell. He doesn't just talk about building. He tries things, learns out loud, and brings what he finds back to all of us. That kind of generous experimenting is the very heart of what we're doing here. Those are the qualities that make him this week's Community Builder Spotlight. If YouTube is part of your business strategy, or you want to build an audience without feeling overwhelmed, I encourage you to visit what Avinash is building. 👉 YouTube Business Club (not an affiliate link)

Q & A Updates (7/28/2026)
Here's a quick update of the Skool update call earlier today mostly about Growth Boost. Sam Ovens (Skool CEO) suggested Skool owners do the following to maximize "Growth Boost". 1- Fix your packaging: cover image, group description, and About page. This is what shows in Discovery and gets used directly as ad creative. 2- Make it instantly obvious what the group is and who it is for. Study the groups currently on Discovery Trending for examples. 3- Add your social links under Settings, then Profile, then Social Links (YouTube, X, Instagram). Growth Boost now reads these to understand your audience and to pull content for ad creatives. 4- Put your Skool link directly in bio on every platform. Link aggregators like Linktree or Stan Store do not count, and the algorithm is being weighted to favor direct links. 5- Bulk edit your YouTube back catalog to insert the Skool link in every video description. 6- Drive your own traffic to the About page early. Groups getting the biggest boosts are usually the ones already pushing traffic themselves, since that creates the data signal the system scores. They will be using an "Efficiency Scorecard" to determine what ads get shown. The five things being measured: 1- Clear market niche, the narrower the better. Fantasy crochet beats crochet. 2- Price between $5 and $200 per month, with $20 to $100 as the sweet spot. Too low and ads cannot pay for themselves, too high and conversion drops. 3- About page conversion rate above 1%. (Remember this is cold traffic converting to paid) Note that this figure naturally falls as volume rises, which is normal. 4- Trial conversion rate of 40% or better, if you run trials. 5- Retention above 80%. Worth knowing Efficient groups working the best currently receive $5,000 or more per day in dedicated Skool ad spend, with dedicated campaigns and custom creatives. The team expects that to climb toward $10,000 per day. The efficiency score lags, so new groups need time to accumulate data before the system can act.

So the cover image and an image on about page are not or should be or be the same? Is that correct?

Good job! It was so hard for me! But now I have it down. I’ve lost it once. Keep up the good work!
