What’s your thought on plant protein ?
Hey all! My mum who is fighting breast cancer , vegetarian by diet . I am thinking of including plant protein powder for her. What’s your thoughts is it safe ? If so what should I look for?

@Richa Gaur It sounds like she could eat meat and dairy if it didn't have hormones? There are a growing number of suppliers dedicated to producing meat, dairy and eggs raised completely right. In the US Nourish Farms is a growing cooperative where all the farmers commit to not using any soy or corn feed or any hormones. The price is expensive but it's top of the top on quality.

@Richa Gaur ah, I understand! Yes the chemical issue is very bad.

I have just found Bubs MCT powder creamer made from mct and tapioca starch.. It has 60 cal and 5g carbs. I got it because I heard it didn't cause GI issues like regular MCT oil can. I didn't realize how much like a creamer it really is and have been having it in coffee and tea. Adds a pleasant flavor, not super sweet but definitely nice. https://www.bubsnaturals.com/products/mct-oil-powder
Mind blown
https://youtu.be/aWb_ML4dEqY Dr Frank Shallenberger & Dr Casey Peavler. Dr S gives some of his patients MCT Oil, then insulin to get blood glucose approx 1-2mmol/L (18-36mg/dL) keep it there for as long as possible, then gives Glucose and then low dose Chemo!!!!! Lots of info about melatonin, Vit C and Ozone too. Great interview by Casey as usual and well worth watching. For those of you on chemo which integrative oncologists get them to watch this if they don’t know. Oh and ladies with breast cancer exercise and circadian rhythm optimisation kept them with same life expectancy as those on chemo.

Love Dr Shallenberger. I found a good source of high-dose melatonin through Mitovida.com. 1 capsule contains 200mg melatonin and 500mg of trans-resveratrol extract.
A call for help (Updated)
Hey everyone, Bernardo is struggling to pay the bills to keep this site going. Only 10 of us are chipping in to help Bernardo out. There are 483 of us in the group so could everyone chip in say $1-2 per month so help Bernardo pay for this group? Maybe we have to shut down the other site? Those posts could be made into here? New Classroom: Healing Journeys: Sharing Stories, Finding Hope
Dear all, this new classroom is just in the planning stage, let's make it happen! The idea is to create a crowdsourced classroom where members share real-life progress stories, connect with other members, and find renewed hope. What’s a story of progress and success? Any win, big or small. Remission, or just moving forward. Let's start small; we've got some recent success stories. @Jeff Boldrick , @Whitney Khan , can we post yours in the classroom to kick things off? Also recalling @Odette Rocha , @Michelle Love and @Hengameh Bolouri had great stories, if I remember correctly. Can we add yours too? Others with great stories, please share! No, it's not bragging, it's giving hope to others. Moving forward, all admins can add member success stories from the community to the classroom (with permission). How does that sound?
