Should you have fun or make money when you're young? ๐Ÿ’ธ
Both ;)))))) โ € If you don't already know me, my name is Sam Walford and I'm a 16y/o dropout from the UK and so far I've made almost $10k from my coaching business (travelling Europe this summer) all while LOVING MY WORK. โ € And so my answer is that you should have fun by making money. But obviously it isn't that simple to build a business you love. โ € And so that is why in this post I will give you my 5 biggest lessons that have allowed me to LOVE working, and that I am 100% confident will allow you to build a business you love too. Let's get started :) โ € โ € โ € And this post is long af so if you want to watch the video, here it is... โ € โ € โ € 1: Don't confuse freedom with golden handcuffs๐Ÿ’ธ When I was 14 I got to $2k/month with coaching but oversubscribed myself on calls. I lost all my freedom because I had no time, I started hating business, and I got addicted to video games to cope. โ € Waking up at 4pm crying, playing fifa all day, then going to sleep at 5am. I wasted the entire summer of 2024 indoors hating myself, and by September my business was completely gone. I lost it all because I made one crucial mistake: โ € I forgot why I was doing business in the first place. I was doing business for freedom, and money was just a means to that freedom. But I put the money before my freedom, and oversubscribed myself on calls, which lead to me burning out and losing my entire business and months of my life. โ € If you too are doing business so you can go and travel, and live life free from the 9-5 with infinite freedom, then you must understand that most business models (like dropshipping, clipping, all this BS) are literally just GLORIFIED 9-5 JOBS. โ € You make more money with them and have more freedom sure, but at the end of the day you're still spending your life on something you don't enjoy. Instead of being a slave to a boss youโ€™re a slave to your own business; youโ€™re a slave to the business that was originally meant to set you free in the first place.

How to Record YouTube videos that will actually get you SALES!๐Ÿ’ธ
Yo I'm Sam Walford, I'm a 16 year old from the UK and so far I've made >$8k by selling coaching to leads I've got solely from my YouTube channel which has less than 1.8k subs. โ€Ž So, because I'm more qualified to talk about this than most, I decided I would share my top 5 tactics in this post. I've also recorded a quick video going through it if you want to see that :) โ€Ž If you want a quick summary though (because this guide is LONG AF), you essentially just need to be a real human being and really connect with them to change their life. You change their life == they almost definitely buy from you. โ€Ž โ€Ž โ€Ž โ€Ž โ€Ž TACTIC 1: TALK TO YOUR YOUNGER SELF Now you might already know of this or think it doesn't apply to you, but seriously, hear me out. If you're helping people with a problem that you have solved, this tactic is OVERPOWERED. โ€Ž Essentially what you need to do is create a document on your specific target avatar / ICP listing out all their conscious pains and desires, and all their deep subconscious pains and desires. Look at the image below for an example. Then you just internalise all of these into yourself, and then remember them when you record the video. Naturally you will speak much more personally and relatable, as you will be able to relate to all their deep pains and desires that they don't even consciously realise they have. โ€Ž Before every video, I just skim through my document and just remind myself of them. Because at the end of the day, you're making YouTube videos to humanely give advice. There's no point being a ChatGPT replica. YOU NEED TO BE YOU! โ€Ž โ€Ž โ€Ž โ€Ž โ€Ž TACTIC 2: PLAN YOUR VIDEOS LIKE THIS Don't plan your videos too much, and don't plan them too little either. You don't want to write it word for word because that takes ages for so little ROI, but you also don't want to go raw without a plan because you end up yapping. Bullet points is my recommendation. โ€Ž And to make it easy for you, I've decided to share my video scripting template. This is godly (as I have been told my many who have used it) to instantly make your videos so much better, and way more directed. I highly recommend you utilise it or create your own parody of it.

How to Record YouTube videos that will actually get you SALES!๐Ÿ’ธ
I dropped out at 16 to go ALL IN on my coaching business๐Ÿ’ธ - Here's my story.
If you don't already know me, I'm Sam Walford. I am 16 years old, and from Coventry UK. Iโ€™m making enough money through coaching to convince my parents to let me drop out at 16. โ€Ž Iโ€™m travelling Europe this summer on the money I have made, and meeting up with my online friends. And I love my work because I change lives and itโ€™s so purposeful. โ€Ž Itโ€™s now my mission to inspire other guys like us, and show you that it is possible to make money online both purposefully and enjoyably. Iโ€™m sharing my story to inspire you, here it is: โ€Ž If you want to listen to me tell my story instead of read this post, I've made a loom video here โ€Ž --- My early childhood: - I lived a normal childhood. Football, cross country, fortnite, minecraft, exploring with my friends, living as a child should do. - I'm grateful to have never had any family problems, and I've never had any trauma from my parents. I see much of my father in myself, and I am so grateful for that. โ€Ž - I had an old youtube channel where I did random vlogs, gaming videos and the like which I loved, and this was just the start of my youtube journey. - When I was 9 or 10, I also started getting a feeling that somehow, and I didn't know how, that I was different, and that I would amount to greatness. โ€Ž โ€Ž --- 13 years old: - I started year 9 in school in September 2023. Around this time my dad got me into working out at home. I became serious about running, and started mountain biking too. - In October I asked out my crush I was obsessed over, and she said yes. I started dating her, but then she broke up with me after a month and it fucked me up so bad. โ€Ž - Near the start of November 2023, I discovered self improvement. I started following Hamzaโ€™s self improvement advice and got my friend onto it too. - I got over the girl, and went all in on living a sick life; biking, running, exploring and loving life. โ€Ž โ€Ž --- 14 years old: - In June 2024 I started a self improvement channel. I recorded in the woods because I was scared people would find it. The clips got 3M views on TikTok, and my school found it on their for you page. - EVERYONE found out. My dad let me continue and started giving me feedback. I got better at making videos, built up a community in a discord server, and started genuinely changing lives. - I stopped speaking to anyone at school, cut everyone off, and went ALL IN. I also got a free trip to Japan.
I dropped out at 16 to go ALL IN on my coaching business๐Ÿ’ธ - Here's my story.

I watched this a couple days ago and didn't think much of it at the time, but it stuck in my head and now I've come back to leave this comment. It makes complete sense and I've learnt something new from this, so thanks for sharing.
