How much time does it take you to make your first $1,000 with this business?
I'm like, I'm so curious about how long you've been guys doing this business and how much money did you make so far? And how much it take you to make your first 1000 dollar consistency ? And what is the best piece of advice that you can give it to someone who started new?

I've not reached $1k yet, but from what i understand from a few skool communities (and hormozi), outreach is the most important. Because in the end, most businesses struggle with outreach. So as long as you do enough volume till it is unreasonable for you to fail, you'll be alright. I'm trying to put this into action haha
I might be doing something wrong
Ive sent around 30 messages on IG since Monday - got some replies but they all are pretty negative. This is what my convos look like..... would love some feedback. Also if i get left on seen multiple times do i let it go or do i reach out 1 or 2 more times a week later (maybe it was not right time)

To add to what Matt said, you can include your accomplishments, which will help with social proof. Because people will not know who you are, even though they can see your IG. E.g. I've helped X company revamp their site and conversion rates have increased by 1.5X Even if you've practiced web dev on your own, you can technically say that you've helped an agency with their website and [Insert Metric] has improved by 2X.
🚫 This is why cold calls don’t work.
A lot of people here in the community still try cold calls to build their business. But the reality is: they just don’t work. Here’s why 👇 📞 When you try to call someone, about 50% of people don’t even show up because they’re busy. That means half of your time and research is wasted right away. ❌ From the other half, around 49% aren’t interested at all or think you’re a scam, so they don’t even listen to you. 🤷 With the remaining 10%, you might book one into a call, but most of them don’t actually need your offer. At the end of the day, you might close 1 deal out of 1000 calls. Is that really worth your energy? ✉️ That’s why I switched to cold emails. They’re way more efficient because you can send them automatically and make them hyper-personalized at scale. 🔥 For me, it’s been a complete game-changer compared to cold calls. 👉 What do you think?

@Paul Planko Currently i'm focusing on upwork, i'm applying everyday, so i am talking to a few prospects on there (1 has already confirmed). Finding it a bit difficult to do too many things at once :)

@Paul Planko Quite tough! Because the competition is quite high, and the pay is quite low. But once i have a few completed projects, i will increase prices
From Overwhelmed to Making Progress, My Web Agency Journey
Hey everyone, I’m new here and wanted to share a little of my story. When I first started my agency, I felt like I was juggling a million things at once: clients, projects, learning new tools, and trying to figure out how to actually grow. Some days it felt impossible. The wins didn’t come fast, but the small ones were huge: finishing a project that actually exceeded a client’s expectations, finally mastering a tool I’d been avoiding, or just getting clarity on my processes. I’d love to hear from you: What’s your biggest challenge running a web agency right now? And what’s one small win that reminded you you’re making progress? Sharing struggles and wins honestly has helped me learn faster, curious to see if it does the same for others here!

@Peter Donald Hmm probably in a couple of days time, have not sent them out yet! But from what i gather, 2% - 5% reply rate is pretty standard.

@Peter Donald I don't plan on anything yet, because i've not started it. But looking ahead, i would be happy with those reply rates, especially if it gets me a few clients that pay higher compared to upwork. What outreach have you done?
Trying out Lead Gen (<$10 hopefully)
Hey everyone! I’ve been stressing lately about juggling outreach, proposals, follow-ups and client work (the worst is outreach ngl). But I know a lot of us here are in the same boat when it comes to finding clients. So here's my plan, in a few days I’m setting up cold email automation to take some of that weight off. Should cost like less than $10. The plan is to: 1. Scrape leads that fit my niche 2. Send personalized cold emails automatically (and auto-personalising them with AI) 3. Track replies so I only spend time on the warm ones I have somewhat of an idea of how i'm gonna do it, but I’ll share the results once I’ve tested it out. Hope this helps someone else who’s been feeling the same 🙏 Happy to chat more if anyone wants to brainstorm. Thank youu!
