@Sergo Lonkin A smaller accordion ๐Ÿค” I'm not an expert, so I can't say anything sensible here, except that I like the vibe of how you talk about your instruments.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ English Expressions: Water Under the Bridge / Break a Leg
Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹ Today Iโ€™ve got two useful English expressions for you. Letโ€™s dive in! ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŽญ ๐ŸŒŠ Water Under the Bridge ๐Ÿ‘‰ Meaning: Something that happened in the past and is no longer important or worth worrying about. Youโ€™ve moved on from it. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Origin: Think of water flowing under a bridge โ€” once itโ€™s gone, itโ€™s gone. The idea is: past problems have โ€œflowed away.โ€ ๐Ÿ‘‰ Examples: โ€ข We argued last week, but itโ€™s water under the bridge now. โ€ข Donโ€™t stress about that mistake โ€” itโ€™s water under the bridge. โ€ข All that drama is water under the bridge for me. ๐ŸŽญ Break a Leg ๐Ÿ‘‰ Meaning: A way to say โ€œgood luckโ€, especially before a performance, exam, interview, or big event. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Origin: Comes from theater superstition โ€” instead of saying โ€œgood luck,โ€ people said the opposite to avoid bad luck. Now itโ€™s just a fun, standard phrase. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Examples: โ€ข Big exam tomorrow? Break a leg! โ€ข Youโ€™ve got a concert tonight โ€” break a leg! ๐ŸŽธ โ€ข First job interview? Go in there and break a leg! Now itโ€™s your turn! ๐Ÿ’ฌ Write your own sentences using both: ๐ŸŒŠ water under the bridge ๐ŸŽญ break a leg in the comments ๐Ÿ‘‡ WE LEARN FROM EACH OTHER! ๐Ÿค

@Serge Gray That's right, Larry never disappoints me ๐Ÿ˜‰ By the way, this video stops after 12 minutes, which has not happened to me in a long, long time. Now, with super-fast internet, this never happens to me on YouTube, for example. I was sure this kind of problem is "water under the bridge". But as we can see, I was wrong. I tried to play it again many times and finally gave up. I'd be careful with that "break a leg" thing cuz it may materialize ๐Ÿ˜‚ And even though we have the same saying here, so it's nothing new to me, I never use it ๐Ÿฅด Thanks again ๐Ÿ™ for the longer episodes, not just phrases taken out of context, which didn't stick in my mind when they had no connection to any situation. Thank you, SERGE GREAT ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‰

@Alex Understated Sure, I've heard of the butterfly effect, and I totally agree with you, but you said โ€œeven a trivial EVENT,โ€ and here we don't have an event, just information that is irrelevant to you and completely unrelated to you personally. So theoretically, it shouldn't even evoke any emotions in you. What do you say about that? ๐Ÿค” This time it's not a teaser, but genuine curiosity about your opinion ๐Ÿ™‚

@Alex Understated That's why I avoid speaking up... not just here, but in general, because my opinion often differs from others'. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to argue, but to learn. And to learn from a truly wise man or person (to be PC) ๐Ÿ˜‰ Right, thoughts can materialize. And yes, this information helped me understand why I feel so much in common with him, 'cuz possibly roots can somehow influence the way a personality is formed. By the way, I've never looked for my roots, but based on my mother's parents' family names, they seem to be typically German, and the customs in my family home were also rather in the German style. But I don't care about that. No one chooses their roots... even if some people say we can. Sincerely, thank you for your answers, I really appreciate it ๐Ÿ™

@Serge Gray Tell me about it ๐Ÿ˜‚ I spent 14 hours flight to Tokyo next to a guy from Australia who talked to me non-stop, didn't sleep all night, my synapses were fried, and I was like, โ€œWHAT?โ€
