Super Tip for finding clients using LinkedIn
Hey everyone! Wanted to drop a quick tip that’s been super helpful for finding new clients, and it’s all about mastering LinkedIn searches. Most of us are into B2B market providing services. So our audience have some pretty predictable characteristics that we can use to find them out there! I thought that this was a well-known strategy, but speaking with some folks here in Vancouver I realize many of them never heard about it! So I hope I can add a bit more of knowledge to leverage your businesses! 🚀 Boolean Search on LinkedIn. Yep, it’s a thing! Simply put, Boolean search helps you get super specific about who you're looking for by using words like AND, OR, NOT, along with parentheses and quotes. Here's how to use it to find your dream clients: - AND narrows your search by combining terms: developer AND "virtual reality" finds profiles with both terms. - OR broadens your search to include profiles with either term: marketing OR advertising. - NOT excludes terms you don’t want: engineer NOT civil. - Use quotes for exact phrases: "graphic designer". - Parentheses work like math, grouping terms to control the search: (software OR computer) AND engineer. Examples: - Looking for marketing pros outside the finance sector? Try marketing NOT finance. - Need a graphic designer who knows both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator? Search "graphic designer" AND (Photoshop OR Illustrator). - Finding tech entrepreneurs in either AI or blockchain? Go for founder AND (AI OR blockchain). Now combine this with the advanced filtering options and you'll see the magic happening right in front of your eyes. Why bother? Because it saves time and gets you in front of the right people. No more scrolling through vaguely related profiles! Start with these tips, tweak as you go, and watch your network fill up with potential clients who actually match what you're looking for. Extra tip: If you have the technical skills, combine all of that with the technologies your client had integrated on their website and Boom! You have tons of knowledge about the business, what kind of technology they are using. Now you can approach them with much more confidence and information. But this extra tip could be a whole another topic.

Mindset upgrade: My journey from "solo" to "symphony"
Back when my agency, Studio Yellow, was just starting to dream bigger, I hit a truth bomb: you can’t be the best at everything. I learned this the hard way, or maybe the best way, while trying to stretch our wings globally. We were great at what we did, but stepping into new territories meant we faced challenges that needed more than just our expertise. The game changer? Embracing partnerships. Picture this: We landed a monster project that needed us to work across different skills. It wasn’t just about doing what we do; it was about understanding local vibes, languages, and so much more. It was clear we needed help. At first, reaching out felt like admitting defeat, but it turned out to be our smartest move. We started teaming up with folks who knew the things we didn’t. Each partner brought their A-game, filling in our gaps. The result? A project that not only hit the mark but also showed us the power of collaboration. This experience flipped a switch for us. We began connecting with partners worldwide, turning our agency into a global network of creativity and expertise. We weren’t just Studio Yellow anymore; we became a hub for bringing ambitious projects to life, no matter where they were. So, here’s my takeaway for fellow agency owners: Know your strengths, find partners who complement them, and together, we’ll be unstoppable. Scaling globally taught me that it’s not about doing everything alone but doing it with the right people. And that's what is really hard to find. What are your thoughts on this? Do you have solid and reliable partners that you know you can count on?

What's your thoughts on Apple Vision Pro?
So, Apple recently dropped the Vision Pro, and it's like stepping into a sci-fi movie, isn't it? Virtual meetings, concerts, and travel without leaving your couch. Cool, right? But wait a sec, what's the catch? Tell me what you think. Is it the future paradise or digital prison? Drop your thoughts below.

@Olena Tkhorovska I totally agree. Technology never ever stopped evolving because of fear of the future. Now it won't be different for sure! And the pace is exponentially growing, which mean that this new wave will kick in way before everyone is expecting. And that is the beginning of this new era! Crazy 🤯 Thank you for collaborating and, even further, recommending a book (just bought it). That's the kind of comment that really adds up to the topic! Kudos!
Tips for a newcomer
Hey everyone! As some of you may already know, I recently made the leap and landed in Vancouver last April. It’s been an exciting ride so far, and I’m eager to dive deeper into the Canadian business culture to make my journey here even more rewarding. I’ve picked up a few tips along the way, like embracing the art of politeness and the value of genuine connections. Canadians’ appreciation for diversity and work-life balance has also been enlightening. Plus, I’m learning that a little bit of small talk and the occasional “sorry” can go a long way! 😂 But I know there’s so much more to learn and who better to ask than you all? I’m all ears for any advice, insights, or personal experiences you’re willing to share about navigating the Canadian business scene. What do you think is essential for someone new to this environment to know? What do people appreciate here, and what might they not like as much? Any wisdom you share will be a beacon for me and likely many others in our community. Looking forward to your stories and tips! Let’s make this journey an amazing one together. 🚀
