Tips for a newcomer
Hey everyone! As some of you may already know, I recently made the leap and landed in Vancouver last April. It’s been an exciting ride so far, and I’m eager to dive deeper into the Canadian business culture to make my journey here even more rewarding.
I’ve picked up a few tips along the way, like embracing the art of politeness and the value of genuine connections. Canadians’ appreciation for diversity and work-life balance has also been enlightening. Plus, I’m learning that a little bit of small talk and the occasional “sorry” can go a long way! 😂
But I know there’s so much more to learn and who better to ask than you all? I’m all ears for any advice, insights, or personal experiences you’re willing to share about navigating the Canadian business scene. What do you think is essential for someone new to this environment to know? What do people appreciate here, and what might they not like as much?
