So on TikTok, I did a video on how Eric Monte (not Norman Lear) is the real genius behind shows like Good Times, What’s Happening, and The Jeffersons. 👀But guess what else I found out? He started as a poet! 🙌🏾 ➡️ When one of his closest friends passed, Monte wrote a poem about it and set out for Hollywood, becoming a screenwriter. 🎥Cooley High is his story. Eric Monte is Preach and his friend who died is Cochise!
