Missouri chapter’s first Meet Up
I’m working on our flyer and wanted to ask if anyone saw any improvements before we begin sending it out. Also with limited time in our Meet Ups, how do we manage the time ppl speak? Some ppl speak longer and it seems rude to interrupt them. But before you know it, our mtg time is over and we have not completed what we planned. Are other chapters having 2 and 3+ hour meetings? I come from an Information Technology background where mtgs are run professionally, so I may need to change my thinking. I understand these Meet Ups may be more social and require more time. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks.
Missouri chapter’s first Meet Up
Thoughts on the Missouri chapter of PBN
My goal is to have 100 Poetry Business Network chapter members by December 19. I'm already planning the holiday Meet Up in Dec. I hope to have teams of people working to facilitate/host monthly Workshops and Meet Ups (and take our place as initial planners). The workshops are for poets/creatives to be recruited, and the Meet Ups are the monthly chapter updates where we hear about WINS, RoadBlocks, etc. I've already scheduled the August Workshop and Meet Up; and hoping a new member steps up to schedule the remainder for the year. I've invited 20 poets/creatives to our workshop and asked my team to also spread the word about our workshops. The room only holds 50 people. I'm also looking for another location for us to meet. Is it wrong to set a standard for. the newest members to facilitate, host, and help with planning our monthly events?

@Christoph Jenkins I have been doing the things. I am pitching a signature event for the James Cancer Hospital. Could you provide me with a sample proposal that justifies the $6000 dollars for my signature event. I just would like to make some comparisons to contracts you have secured. Thanks!
