I’m official 🌹‼️ Drove around today with my new addition, The Poet Life 💯

Yesterday I performed my signature poem for my business (Sculpted Roses Company) the first time in person. It was received well🌹synopsis: we are all roses…meaning we can be successful or beautiful no matter the circumstance…like the rose, rose from the concrete, or dead rose…ie bloom where you’re planted 💯 The best part was a boy about 9 or 10 came up to me right after I finished my set and said he enjoyed my poetry 🥹🥹

... Are you a performer? He smiled and his eyes lit up, and he said: "How did you know?". I didn't know what to say, and I was talking about a poet or singer. Anyway, this brother is a dancer. I didn't even ask him what kind. I need these creative people in my show. lol To see him light up like that makes me want to say something positive (next time) like: "You look like you are creative".

We will eventually need a bank account, web site, and money for expenses; so I will present a few ideas for us to compile some loot. I met a Soursop tea Entreprenuer and asked if they have distributorship opportunities. I saw an add for African scents we could buy at wholesale. And I’ll share a few other ideas, only if they are interested in hearing. We could purchase a booth at the Farmer’s market to sell items. I even had the idea to ask if a poet or storyteller could perform when the live band takes their break. But unless and until the majority of the membership wants to sell items, I won’t push it.

I’m getting better with Canva. Practice makes perfect. Still checking with owner on the date. You heard it first before anyone. Any suggestions for improvements? I need to figure out how to make my logo background transparent.
