The 3 Most Common Community Mistakes I see
Most people join communities to grow their business and then default to one of three mistakes without even realising it… In this one I break down the three mistakes I see over and over in Skool communities, plus the exact five-step approach I use instead. Here's what's inside: 👉 The 3 mistakes almost everyone makes without realising it 👉 The analogy that changes how you think about showing up 👉 The exact 5 steps I use to become a standout member 👉 How to do this in just 5 to 10 minutes a day Watch here: https://youtu.be/Lqv-nsXKAzk?views Grab the companion guide: https://katherinemackenziesmith.com/be-a-stand-out-community-member-geo8g/ And if you want the tracker I mention in the video, you can grab it as part of the Community Creation Kit for the introductory price of $9 or free with the Cozy Business Quest 7-day free trial

I am not sure where I created the mindset of 'I am engaging somewhere, so I need something in return' , and that's how I unfortunately started when I joined skool... that's why I didn't engage much. However then I found some amazing communities and I absolutely loved contributing to them, and then, when I stopped thinking about that I need something in return, then people actually started to join my group as well.. it just works like this doesn't it...

I had a very crazy week this week again, had many consultations and also lots of sessions and basically spent a lot of time at the gym, so I think the win is that I was able to get through all of that without burning out 🤣 I think it was a bit too much this week, it was a great reminder to just slow down a bit, next week should be a lil easier.

@Katherine Mackenzie-Smith yes!
I've only seen this twice now, but it is a trend??
It's when someone lists what they've done from waking up at the crack of dawn, normally a workout and responding to clients, etc. And they use the phrase "your max effort is someone else's daily minimum" 😬 Has anyone else seen this? I'd like to make my own realistic version of it because the ones I've seen are so braggy and out of touch.

yep seeing this a lot. Especially in the health and fitness space. People love watching these videos so they tend to do well in terms of engagement unfortunately.

Signs of Solopreneur Burnout Before You Completely Shut Down
Do you find yourself being fine, fine, fine... then disappearing from your business for weeks because you've accidentally overloaded your plate again? In this one I break down the small personal indicator that tells me I'm heading toward burnout, before I disappear completely instead of after. Here's what's inside: 👉 My weird early warning sign for burnout 👉 The 3-step method to catch it before you crash 👉 Why the buffet problem might be silently draining you 👉 What to actually take off your plate first Watch here: https://youtu.be/RsIjdiKAHx0 Here's the video guide: https://katherinemackenziesmith.com/signs-of-solopreneur-burnout/ And here's the Visibility Map if you haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

this was a great advice. I get easily distracted by shiny things hehe but now I can manage that better and always stop myself before doing something I don't need. Agree with that once I stop sending emails/sharing stuff that's when I am doing too much haha. Also when my mood is bad and want to quit everything is when I am heading to burnout... also love your new setup of the office space 😍
What would you say...
Is the most important thing you've done this year for visibility around your work? And it doesn't have to be obvious things like a feature, or guest spot, or a piece of content going viral (although that's all good too) but something maybe unexpected or personal that really made a difference for you. Because it might spark an idea or motivate someone else in here. And, I think it's always worth reflecting and reviewing where we've come from instead of just always forging ahead. Let us know, I'll drop mine in the comments too ⤵️

I think for me was to get the content out faster. I used to spend a long time creating carousel, overthinking what to write, and making my reels ‘good’. I think it does matters to a point… But not worth spending 45 mins editing video or carousel if I can talk to someone on the gym floor instead (especially as I am focusing on the in person stuff more now).
