Visibility win is that I'm a look more confident in sharing my offers! I've put up my new local ads and I've been posting a weekly video on my story to get eyes on my membership since I've changed the first tier to free.
The Visibility Q+A Thread - Share your questions below ⤵️
This is an ongoing thread - drop your question anytime and I'll answer when I can 🥰 And remember, if you're thinking it, someone else is probably stuck on the same thing or it will highlight something someone else really needed to hear right now. If you have questions about: - Any of the videos in the classroom - Content creation, platforms, or growth - Collaboration ideas and referral visibility options - Paid visibility, ads, or opportunities - Email marketing and list growth - Trends or what I'm seeing working right now - Long form content repurposing - Any of my offers in the classroom or elsewhere Drop them below 🌟 Your questions also shape what I make next - so this thread is useful for all of us.

When we're doing storytelling content, how should we approach things if it's like if it's a common mistake we see clients make, without making them feel criticised? It's only ever common problems, otherwise I wouldn't be making content about it. I never say this one client does this weird thing (obviously 😅) but some people see it like that!

@Katherine Mackenzie-Smith I use phrases like "we see this all the time" but I feel like they just don't hear that bit! Sometimes I've literally said "I've actually made a video about this I'll be posting it soon" and then they'll still go oh that video was about me wasn't it 😂 Never happens with the group coaching clients, only the 1:1s because they don't really notice what other people are doing.
What's the one thing that holds you back?
In last week's video (part 4 of the Underthinking Content series), I asked a question to ponder as you were navigating your week. "Where specifically is the pressure to be "good" stopping you from posting?" Let us know in the poll below, and then ask yourself (or share in the comments) What would you post this week if you removed that pressure entirely?

I do sometimes hover over the publish button thinking "is this good enough?!" But I've realised that something that stops me is gym bros being rude to me because I'm a woman talking about strength training. Our gym/coaching business is for any gender. On the other hand, I have posted SO many talking head videos to my personal tiktok page in the past month and because I'm talking mainly to women I don't feel that same pressure. But when I repurpose these videos to Instagram, some of them are landing in the gym bro side of IG and I've again been getting nasty comments. I know it might happen anyway, but I could be a bit more strategic with my content to make it more female focused/not appealing to gym bros.

@Katherine Mackenzie-Smith we often notice how the videos of my (male) partner only get rebuttal comments, not personal criticism or rude comments on our business page. Yeah it's interesting how it just didn't reach that audience on tiktok. It definitely takes some getting used to!
Has the "DM for [resource]" approach been tarnished?
I've been using this in my business content, only after offering value of course. But I have seen a lot of it from people selling a big business promise and using a CTA like "DM me FREEDOM for passive income online". Stuff like that. It's making me feel a bit icky about using it sometimes, in case people think I'm trying to lure them in or something. It's a shame because it can genuinely get conversations going where people might otherwise feel uncomfortable about contacting you. I've also seen people mocking it so that's not helped 😬 Does anyone else feel the same? Am I just seeing it a lot because I use the DM CTA so I'm noticing it more?

@Katherine Mackenzie-Smith yes I never realised just how much personal growth is required! Such an interesting journey I've also been thinking about how some people are so horrible about a small business owner trying to sell something, but also content creators who earn from things like views and brand deals. Because they're not "real jobs". Can't win 😅

@Katherine Mackenzie-Smith YES the ones who run sales ads all the time. And they don't bat an eyelid!
What are your visibility plans for the week?
Hey everyone, have you had a chance to check out Video 2 of the mini series yet? I will have to have a brief hiatus this week as I'm moving house but will have an interview with the lovely @Kylie Kelly coming up instead. Sometimes life is busy, right? And the world isn't going to end if we disappear for a little while. But we can also plan for this and put other things in place - guest posts, pre-scheduled or even re-shared content, ads help me when I don't have time to create much organic content. I'm also in a summit coming up next week that was planned and created weeks ago (It's the Oracle Cards Magic Summit for spiritual solopreneurs, you can join free here with my referral link >> So, while I know I'm not going to have much time, my visibility plans are in place: ✅ Guest interview ready to go for the podcast ✅ New ads starting later today to promote the free trial of the Cozy Business Quest ✅ Some pre-created content ready to go ✅ Summit appearance next week to get in front of new people I'd love to tell you I was super organised, but I only found out I was moving last week. Because of having different visibility strategies, though, it means I can do less this week and not completely disappear. What are your plans for this week? Remember, it doesn't have to be as full on as what I do, pick one thing and go from there.

Feel like I absolutely have NOT been on top of my game. I've been catching up on bookkeeping and it's so draining 😭 Edit: I realised that I have actually been posting well on my personal brand page just my business page. Takes so much more effort posting as the business! This week I have a video I need to edit and I realised that I could cut down the last one into short form video.
