How to plan the rest of your year without burning out
I had the pleasure of talking to my lovely friend @Kylie Kelly recently on her podcast The Email Growth Show about how to plan the rest of your year without burning out. Inside the episode, we get into: - Why copying someone else's business system almost never works - How to actually review the first half of your year instead of just pushing through it - The daily energy check-in that keeps my plans realistic instead of aspirational - Why 90-day chunks work better than 12-month goals when your energy isn't consistent - The one sentence from this chat I haven't stopped thinking about: you don't have to do all of the things, but you still have to do something https://kyliekelly.com/plan-rest-of-year-without-burning-out/ Hope you enjoy! Come back and let Kylie and I know something you took from this episode!

refining my known for statement
I could really use some insight, especially if you fall in this demographic... I have made a pretty big pivot in how I work with businesses, which is I think where I always wanted to be but kept trying to fit insides some predetermined boxes (hello 3 individual circuits that said that was never going to work lol). I've been workshopping my known for statement and trying to find a way to help mompreneurs and couplepreneurs feel seen in it without being way too wordy.... So I had- I am a Life-first Business (Re)Designer who helps family-centered business owners transform their business so they're no longer the primary brain for everyone and everything, giving them the space to build their vision without losing themselves, their family, or the life they built it for. I feel like it says most of what I need but it is long. so maybe: I'm a Life-first Business Redesigner who helps you stop being the primary brain for everyone and everything, so you can build your vision without losing yourself, your family, or the life you built it for. a few other variations potentially- I'm a Life-first Business Redesigner who helps you steer your business toward the life you're building, so your business finally makes your life fuller, not harder (fuller not harder is one of my core beliefs) I'm a Life-first Business Redesigner and together we get clear on what you actually want out of your business and life, then redesign the business, its vision, decisions, roles, and rhythms, to fit it. I'm a Life-first Business Redesigner who helps you get clear on where you're going, then reshape the business to run in that direction instead of running through you. I'm a Life-first Business Redesigner who helps you redesign your business around the life you actually want, so it stops depending on you for every decision. Also open to suggestions. I struggle with taking a really big and nuanced (it won't look the same for each person, but will all involve mindset, communication strategies, coaching, strategy, and operations) and describing it without over describing it...
Hey Mary, I think the statement is less important to "get right" and the best thing to do is to go with the one that feels good for you, then take all the nuance and start breaking it down into bite size ideas and content that you can share. It's just about impossible to nail a one liner and get all the texture in - your content and connections fill in the gaps. Best to pick one and know you'll probably change it 50 million times. Change it every week if you want, but focus on sharing the message in as many different ways as you can to build the full story :) Hope that helps.
