10 Ways to get your first 50 customers
I would like to share with you 10 realistic, free, beginner-friendly ways to get your first 50 customers for your digital product, even with a small audience: 1️⃣ Leverage your existing following Your first customers are often people who already know you. Announce it everywhere: Insta, TikTok, FB, stories, automated emails, close friends list. 📌The best way to start is by sharing your idea with your friends. They’ll most likely become your first marketers, if not your first customers. 2️⃣ Engage in Niche Communities Join groups, subreddits, forums, Discord channels, answer questions, drop soft mentions of your product when relevant. 3️⃣ Start a “Build in Public” series Share progress, behind-the-scenes, drafts, struggles, wins. 📌People love being part of the journey, and buy because they feel connected. 4️⃣ Offer a Limited “Beta” Version 💸Sell at a small discount to early adopters. Beta = fast trust, early testimonials, first customers. 5️⃣ Create a Freebie That Directly Leads Into Your Product 📝Checklist → full guide 📑Template sample → full template pack 🎥Mini video → full course 📌Your freebie should be a “taste” of the paid product. 6️⃣ Collaborate With Micro-Creators Guest posts, live videos, newsletter swaps. You don’t need huge influencers — creators with 500–5,000 engaged followers convert extremely well. 7️⃣ Launch on Multiple Platforms Use different resources to sell your product. For example: 🔸Gumroad 🔸Etsy 🔸Creative Market 🔸Shopify 🔸Ko-fi 🔸Own website 📌More storefronts = more chances to be discovered. 💎Popular platforms give the product greater visibility and increase buyer confidence. 8️⃣ Use TikTok/Instagram for reels “Problem → Solution” videos Post micro-educational videos showing your product solving a real problem. Short form content sells digital products better than anything right now. 9️⃣ Run a 48-Hour Launch Offer Scarcity works. Early-bird price, bonus templates, fast-action gifts. 📌People need a reason to buy TODAY. 🔟 Leverage Social Proof early

Protecting & Licensing your Digital Products
Lets talk about one of the most important topics nobody talking about. How to keep your work safe, protect your income, and license your digital products the smart way. Most creators focus on creating digital products, but to be honest very few think about protecting them. And the truth is simple: 👉 If you don’t protect your digital products, someone else can profit from your work. The legal side in a simple, creator-friendly way. 1️⃣ Add Licensing Terms to every product A license tells buyers how they’re allowed to use your product. You need this to protect yourself from misuse or redistribution. Common license types: ✔ Personal Use LicenseThey can use it for themselves, NOT resell or redistribute. ✔ Commercial Use LicenseThey can use it for client projects, but still not resell the product. ✔ Extended Commercial LicenseHigher price. More freedom. Great for agencies & professionals. Every product should come with a clear “Terms of Use” file. 2️⃣ Protect your Files & Templates Your goal is to make your work easy to buy but hard to steal. Use these methods: ✔ watermarked previews ✔ PDF password protection (for certain documents) ✔ “view-only” links on Google Docs/Notion ✔ Canva templates set to “template mode,” not editable mode Good protection = fewer problems later. 3️⃣ Register Your Copyrights (Optional But Powerful) Everything you create is automatically copyrighted, but registration gives you stronger legal protection. This gives you: ✔ proof of ownership ✔ ability to file takedowns ✔ legal grounds to pursue damages (if necessary) If you’re selling high-value products, this is worth doing. 4️⃣ Use DMCA Takedowns when someone steals your work If someone uploads, copies, or resells your product illegally, you can file a DMCA takedown. Platforms that accept DMCA: • Etsy • Gumroad • Shopify • YouTube • Instagram • Google • Facebook It’s fast. It’s free. And it works surprisingly well. 5️⃣ Include clear Refund & Access policies Avoid misunderstandings by telling buyers:
