I have finally finished and we're heading into Winter. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was nearly finished this before we started the Ruju Cardigan but when I tried it on it was too big and the plain garter stitch was too stretchy due to the weight of the cotton combined with Garter stitch. I also had used 3 different contrast colours but they didn't show up as well as this light blue I finally settled on. I used 100% Cotton from my stash, and had to do a bit of tweeking with Needle size. But I'm proud to say I did a descent size Swatch Guage that I actually wet blocked. I'm so proud of myself.💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 I altered the end of the pattern as I thought the straight look of the original design would enhance the size of my bust and I'd rather not do that. I'm really really happy with the result, it could be a bit longer at the hem but I'm pretty sure after wearing it a few times the weight of it will stretch it.

Started Wip 1: first two pictures was where i paused. Today i added the collar. Now doing the hem on the body

I’ve started the Auseklis sock and I’m using the paler colour as dominant. Is that the right way round - don’t want to get too far if it needs changing! Also first time doing Judy’s cast on and it has a purl ridge, I think I’ve done that wrong too 😬

Tonight I had the great pleasure of seeing a few Rujuus in real life at a knit night in London, UK! What a wonderful feeling, thank you for coming and bringing this WIP to this fantastic social get-together ❤️
