Catching Up!
After frogging the first attempt at clue #3, I reassessed my color choices, found a yarn that’s been in the stash for over 3 years (color B), went down 2 needle sizes and it fits! These colors are so much more “me” than the first attempt and I love how it looks so far. It’s brighter and mildly chaotic, and I love it so much! I’ve also learned that I’m more of a loose knitter than I thought. I’m learning so much from this MYAL.

@Pamela Barber Thank you so much! It has been a very fun experience. I’m so glad I joined, and that I trusted myself to frog and re-start…that was disheartening but necessary.

Clue 4 is done and I can't wait to see what comes next in the pattern! I'm having so much fun creating alongside all of you and seeing what you produce. 🥰

The colors are even prettier as the clues progress!
Yess! Clue 2 is complete
So excited to have completed clue number 2. My boyfriend said “ I thought you told me this was a stash buster? But I noticed you were using your new yarn” and I said it is a stash buster but my stash isn’t that big yet 🤪

If the yarn has made it into your home, it’s stash, regardless of purchase date.

And neckline slowly appearing. If you have a look at the texture - see the blue circle at the picture - isn't is going to be a problem when steeking? It is a bit bulky/different texture/bigger 🤔. Thank you.

Mine's doing the same, and looking at some of the other cardigan wips, the difference in texture in that section looks fairly common. I think it probably comes down to the difference in gauge between plain stockinette and stranded. I don't think it'll be a problem because we'll be picking up stitches for the button band at the edges of the steek area, so that should sort it out.
Ready for Clue 4? The time has come.
It's amazing to see your projects become more and more beautiful with every clue! Right now here on Skool, we have 400 projects finished with Clue 1, 350 with Clue 2, and over 200 progress photos posted for Clue 3! I especially love seeing the photos of you modelling your work with proud smiles, that always makes my day! ❤️ Before we move on to Clue 4, I wanted to share a fun little thing I noticed yesterday. I've been keeping a note of everyone making two versions (there are 20 of you so far!), and I realized that two of those people have the same name. What a one-in-a-million coincidence! Shoutout to @Susan Evans and @Susan Evans 🥂 Clue 4 is here, and it comes with a fun new texture! I hope you’ll love adding this little stitch pattern to your projects as much as I did. I’ve already used it in a few of my recent designs, so of course, I had to include it in this one too. 😅 If you already have the pattern, check your inbox for the update or refresh your Ravelry library to download the Clue 4 file. If you haven’t joined yet but would like to, you can get the pattern here. I’ve also added some new tutorials for Clue 4 in the Rujuu course. Just head to the Classroom tab to check them out! Bring on the stunning photos and let me know if you’re going straight or shaped!! 🤩

I'm excited for clue 4. I'm still catching up from frogging and starting over on Tuesday, but I think I'll be able to catch up with everything before clue 5 next week.

@Saralise Sophia it’d be funny if I was, but it’s just coincidence 😋
