That moment when you pull on the wrong cable . . .
I’m using magic loop for the sleeves and this morning, I accidentally pulled the wrong cable to prepare for the next sleeve. I was REALLY glad that this is wool and wool is NOT slippery! And no, I did not pause to take a picture! I’ve never done a color work garment and sleeves done two at a time with magic loop is “interesting”.

@Fabienne Pottier I would NOT recommend doing it for the first time with colorwork or anything involving more than a single skein per sleeve. Even with just the two skeins, you have to stop periodically and untangle the yarns.

@Anne Bertinuson yep. I have red stitch markers for each repeat. Otherwise it's too easy to get off. For the body, I used green markers to mark the side seams. Stitch markers are your friends! Kind of like lifelines and lace!

@Zanete Hussain thank you! It has been so much fun to make!
Cardigan option: have you decided on buttons yet?
I am currently thinking about what kind of button I want to use and am wondering if you have already decided and would like to share your option? I am drawn to use olive wood buttons like the ones in the picture.

@Cher Daun me too! I feel like if they had stopped trying to stock everything in the world and stuck to Fabric & Crafts, they would have done better. I was working at a Cloth World in Tennessee when JoAnne's bought that chain and we were horrified at all of the junk we had to make room for. The craft stuff was fine, but the home decor and all of the seasonal stuff that gets marked down when it doesn't sell? It just annoyed our customers and made more work for us. I'll have to make time to go check out the few yarn stores. I may also look on Etsy (checking return policies of course).

@Nadja Rothbarth exactly! I checked Hobby Lobby and they had next to nothing. A decent selection of fabric, but almost nothing in buttons.
Zanetes other patterns
Since starting to #RujuuSweater and seeing how well written Zanetes patterns are I have been perusing her patterns on Ravelry and bought a few. Currently doing the luminary top alongside the #Rujuu mystery challenge. What patterns of Zanetes have youade or bought ready to make? It looks to me like many patterns could be stash buster type patterns too which is always an added bonus My luminary project will be finished this week so looking for recommendations on what to make next
