Build HTML Emails Natively in Airtable </>
Real business application here! Create beautiful emails directly from Airtable with the power of HTML. (Cheat with Ai if you don't know HTML or any coding) This DOES need you to use the Script block in the automations. SO, I created this as a simple getting started with scripting in Airtable walkthrough. There are a few key things to hone in on in here: - How to get information INTO the script so that the script can manipulate or use it. - How to get information out of the script so it can be used for the following automation steps. During this whole video I tried to give you my best practice tips and go over some common gotchas that might happen, especially when you're working with AI to help build out these workflows! - 00:00 Why scripting matters in Airtable - 00:24 The business use case: sending supplier emails - 01:05 Breaking down the script inputs and structure - 03:13 Passing data from the script to the next automation step - 04:08 Rebuilding the automation from scratch - 06:10 Setting up inputs, table IDs, and field references - 12:21 Building the email output - 16:06 Adding error handling and success checks - 19:26 Why this matters for real business workflows - Did this unlock anything for your Airtable workflows? - Was anything confusing about this? - Do you have any further questions about how to use scripting automations?

🔑 Jake just passed the community keys over to me, and it's time to say hello!
I went from hating Airtable to it becoming the backbone of many major projects. First, let me say hello and then I'll cover my initial plans. Airtable, has been a crucial part of many different projects over the years. From hard-cash lending companies, to simple invoice tracking, to high-end commercial animation projects for Amazon products. There's a lot I've learned building out Airtable systems for others and myself. My goal here is to start making this the #1 hub of Airtable builders and enthusiasts. Soooo, I haven't met most of you yet, but I'm hoping that this group will be a fantastic way to help you learn Airtable, network, and get your questions answered. Being the new owner of the community I'll start digging into why people have joined in the past, and take those things into consideration for the how I'll support this group. If you have ideas or insights, hit me up and I'd love to hear them. Simple plan now is: 1. Rapidly create a strong library of trainings covering Formulas. Not just "Here's a formula, fill this in and you're done" but I'll work to add in cool use cases and pro tips to have formulas do more work for you! 2. Start recording processes for working with Airtable and Ai. Utilizing ChatGPT Codex, MCP servers, and using the Airtable API to build rapidly. these will be adhock and probably a little messy at first, but they'll reveal real ways I'm working to knock projects out quickly. The goal is to talk through at a high level and then when questions start to pour in, I'll get a better look at what content people are needing. More to come soon... -Ryan

@Ryan Plummer Excited!!!
I didn't know this place existed
Hello all Really excited to see a sea of airtable enthusiasts I talk about this platform all the time and now there's another one just for us I discovered airtable two years ago and have fallen in love with its ability to do massive work loads for affordable, small business, prices. I've created a complete data visualization boards from production (pulling directly from shopify), hr, hiring/training, task management, cost reports, cog, and more. Learning something new every day and with every update they put out - whats been your favorite discovery lately?
