NO PHONE ZONE πŸ“΅
Happy Friday everyone! and yes I see the irony in the fact that you're probably viewing this post on your phone right now πŸ˜‚ But I've been on a path to changing my relationship with my phone for awhile now, in a way that still allows me utilize all of its benefits simply with more intention. What was once an extension of my body has turned into something that I'm constantly looking to create space from. Over the last year I've started to see creators host phone-free events, promote ideas like "phone-free fall" to encourage in person connection, I even saw an article recently about a possible phone-free club opening in Ibiza (that could be cool)! While our phones are an incredible tool in so many ways, I truly believe too much of anything can turn into a negative. So now I'm curious... What are some ideas or ways you have started to incorporate phone-free times/spaces/events into your personal life or business? Let's inspire each other to spend some time unplugged from technology and plugged into real life πŸ˜πŸ’™

@Micah Walker the addiction is real. I feel like a terrible mom for how much screen time i have given my kids. They are 100% addicted. I envy all the moms with the willpower to be screenfree.
A little ditty about Ja… errr, Me!
Aloha! Name is Leslie. I live in Hawaii with my partner and my fuzzy nugget. I quit my job in cardiac surgery (well, I told them to kiss my ass and shove it) and started the journey to finding my joy again. I was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD (which explained my whole confusing existence) That led me to become a holistic nurse coach, start using plant medicine to wake the fuc* back up and I started writing… and writing and writing. I became a published author, learned the publishing world and now I coach people how Story is Medicine, how to write books and I own a little boutique publishing house that caters to marginalized voices. Favorite Nickelodeon show was rugrats. super stoked to find some real humans on the intrawebs. Can’t wait to connect with you lovely HUMANS

Happy to be here 🀍
Hi everyone! I am new here and wanted to introduce myself. First and foremost I have to say I love the energy in here already. My names Vanessa and I am located in Southern California. I am certified nurse coach and holistic RN that incorporates sound and energy healing into my coaching practice. I’ve been a nurse for about 15 years and my background is postpartum and ObGyn. I love women’s health and I am looking to transition into making my practice into a full time career. I am also a mama of two precious girls, 3 1/2 months and a 4 year old. I was feeling a bit alone on this journey but looking forward to being here in this community!

Community Hike 1/21 Harriman State Park NY
Hey! If anyone is in the NJ/NY area, I am hosting a community hike on Wednesday 1/21 in Harriman State Park. Will meet at 10 am and hike about 3-5 miles. Trying to create an opportunity for people to get together in community, share ideas, reconnect with nature and feel alive. If you're interested, message me and I will send you the meeting location.
