I quit my job in cardiac surgery (well, I told them to kiss my ass and shove it) and started the journey to finding my joy again. As someone who is just brand newly getting started, I would love some advice from coaches that have been killing it out there. 1. What was the first thing you did to get going? 2. I hosted a space today for nurses on zoom called pause. I talked about issues that I’ve notice in nursing and invited the participants to share. Asking questions like “where do you need to feel supported today? And what are you carrying that you can let go of?” It went great. But here’s the thing. Only my best friend showed up. It was a learning experience and she didn’t full on interact with me. I proceeded like the space was full. And I even recorded a video before to remember the event. I feel like it was a success because I even showed up today. Now I’ve done it. There’s nothing to be afraid of.
