Local SEO guy checking out the community
I've been following Ryan's content on YouTube for a while now and finally decided to get around to joining this community. At this point I'm just trying to figure out what AI tools to narrow in on for my local SEO clients - and then how to use them "at scale." I look forward to learning as much as I can here and helping out where I can.

@Catherine Eadie Right now I'm strictly focusing on AI for content creation. For years I've used ghost writers (I've been doing this since 2012), but now with AI I can produce higher quality content - faster and much cheaper! But I need to find the best AI tools for this and the right prompts. This is the first part of my system I want to get nailed down.
Which AI is best for local SEO: Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT?
If you only wanted to pay for 2 AI tools for local SEO, of the three mentioned, which would you choose and why? I jumped on ChatGPT about a year ago and it has been my daily driver but it's losing ground to Gemini so I've been using Gemini more and more to see what the fuss is about. I find Gemini to be just as good except when it comes to writing. ChatGPT blows it away. I also find that Gemini is really lazy and hallucinates a lot more than ChatGPT. I'm constantly correcting Gemini where I rarely correct ChatGPT. Maybe I have ChatGPT trained better? I have no idea. I know a lot of SEO pros use Claude but I haven't used it much. It seems to me that Gemini would have a huge leg up on any other AI when it comes to local SEO since it presumably has search and behavior data directly from Google. Is Claude just better at writing, or does it have other inherent strengths over Gemini when it comes to doing SEO research, on-page optimization, etc.? Long story short, my stack for local SEO has been primarily Gemini for everything except writing, which I use ChatGPT for. Should I be adding Claude to the stack, or can Claude replace ChatGPT? I don't want to pay $100/month for Claude Max so I'd be considering the $20/month Claude plan vs the ChatGPT $20/month plan.

@Ryan Doser I started watching that video this morning! I just finished it. I have to be honest, Claude Code looks way over my head at this point in my AI journey. My needs for AI right now is for guidance on basic site structure for SEO, content ideas and writing optimized for SEO and AI, and Google Post and Facebook post ideas and creation. I'm no where near implementing a bunch of automated systems for all of that right now. I think for now I'll get a Claude Pro account just to get some experience with it. You did a video on how you used ChatGPT to write content for local SEO. That was over a year ago. I'm assuming you'd use Claude Pro for that today vs GPT.

This was recorded a year ago. Do you still recommend ChatGPT for local SEO service pages? I know you're a big Claude guy now and I've been watching various YouTube videos that Gemini is great for SEO stuff as well. I have paid subscriptions for all of these tools but I don't know which one is better for local SEO content. It seems to me Gemini would be great because it has access to so much search data directly from Google.
