LSA rankings
I know reviews, response time and location matter for LSA. Does dispositioning calls as booked or completed have any affect on ranking? Also does adding or updating pictures in your LSA dashboard help with LSA ranking?
Think I finally Figured Out How LSA's work
Been running local service ads for a few clients over the past 2 years and I've had mixed results. Some clients were getting three to five leads a day, while others in the same niche would get one lead a month. I couldn't for the life of me figure it out until I ran some experiments the last few months. Here's what I found: Location Matters Most: before you agree to run LSA's for a client, do a little research about the area they are in and what competition they face. If it's a densely populated area with hundreds of competitors, many of which have over a thousand Google reviews, then it doesn't matter how high you set your budget, you will not be seen by anyone. You're better off running PPC ads which is way more fair in terms of who shows up at the top. I have two HVAC clients running LSAs in a similar area. One of them gets a steady flow of leads everyday, the other one had one lead in 3 months. Budget was the same, services were the same, they both have a similar amount of Google reviews. The difference is one of them had a 60 mile service radius and the other 20 miles. The one that was getting the leads was getting them mainly from smaller less populated towns further away and the One that wasn't getting any leads didn't want to travel and was stuck in a very densely populated city. As a test I expanded his service area and wouldn't you know, he started getting out of town leads. 2. Make sure the business name has the service in it. For example if your client does landscaping, you want to make sure their business name has the word landscaping in it. Same thing with plumbing and HVAC. One of my landscaping clients was getting a lot of impressions but not a lot of calls. His business name didn't have the word landscaping or lawn care in it and so when people were searching for those services, they would click the other business that did have those. When I added it to the business name, the leads came in more frequently. 3. Adding photos of people doing work is a difference maker. Don't use AI generated or stock images, and don't only post pictures of the jobs. Post pictures of people actually doing the jobs. Those listings tend to get ranked higher.

When you say pictures. Do you mean pictures on GBP or pictures on LSA dashboard?
⚔️ Google Changed the Rules (Again): How to Win the 2026 Local War
If you’re still counting "impressions" on your Google Business Profile, you’re losing. In 2026, Google has shifted its local algorithm to favor Popularity over Prominence. If people aren't clicking, calling, or booking directly from your profile, Google thinks you're irrelevant. Join Ryan tomorrow from 2 PM to 3 PM New York Time to learn how to force Google to put you at the top. 🔬 3 Research-Backed Topics for 2026: 1. The "Popularity" Algorithm Shift - The Meat: Google’s 2026 update changed the game. It’s no longer just about who has been around the longest; it’s about active user interaction. Clicks, photo views, and "requesting directions" are now your primary ranking signals. - The Data: Profiles with high behavioral engagement (calls/clicks) are now outranking established businesses that have more reviews but less "action." 2. AI-Generated Q&A and Visual Search Optimization - The Meat: Traditional Q&A is being replaced by "Ask Maps." Google Lens and Gemini now allow customers to "search as they speak." If your profile isn't optimized for visual recognition and conversational queries, you're invisible to half of your potential customers. - The Data: 35% of page-one visibility is already dominated by AI Overviews and conversational responses—a number expected to hit 50% by the end of 2026. 3. The LSA "Automated Lead Credit" Trap - The Meat: Google has replaced manual LSA disputes with an automated system. If your service areas and job types aren't "surgically" optimized, you’ll be forced to pay for garbage leads with zero recourse for disputes. - The Data: Advertisers are reporting a 20% drop in lead quality when settings aren't tightly signal-optimized for the new 2026 AI-driven targeting. Don't let the 2026 algorithm shift kill your business. Learn the new rules of the war and take back your rankings. Link to join: https://streamyard.com/avdy8ut293 👉 Ready to win? 1-You mentioned Clicks, photo views, and "requesting directions". How do you get customers to interact much with GBP.? All my customers go to my website. 2- You mentioned " If your profile isn't optimized for visual recognition and conversational queries, you're invisible to half of your potential customers. How would i see if my GBP is optimized for visual?
Boost organic traffic
If i run a Facebook ad campaign for free electrical safety inspection, but the customer has to click offer which is my website URL. Would this traffic boost my organic and be a better strategy than very expensive PPC?
Google ads access
We are running PPC ads this week for my electrical service business. Which we rarely do. Our marketing agency wont give us access to google ads account. Not even read only access. We do have access to LSA account which we run all the time, but they wont let us look at PPC/ Google ads account. Is this normal or should this be a concern?
