The Lord is calling His Church back to the altar of costly devotion. We live in a generation that will sacrifice sleep for success, time for money, and comfort for promotion, yet many offer God only what remains after every other obligation has been fulfilled. The Kingdom was never built upon convenience but upon consecration. David declared, “Neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing” (2 Samuel 24:24, KJV). The question before the Church is not whether we have given something, but whether what we have given has truly cost us anything. Sacrifice Requires Surrender. It demands that our flesh decrease so that God’s purpose may increase. Heaven is looking for believers whose worship is worth more than words and whose commitment extends beyond Sunday attendance. Is Sunday’s attendance negotiable or whenever you have service? Why? Even if you show up, where is your mind? Prophetically, hear me saints, the Lord is exposing the spirit of religious trafficking that has attempted to replace genuine sacrifice with empty activity. Many have become busy around the things of God while neglecting fellowship with God Himself. We should worship every day!!! We faithfully report to our jobs, meet deadlines, and fulfill worldly expectations, but many have forsaken the assembly of the saints, abandoned corporate prayer, neglected giving, and withdrawn from the sacred responsibilities of Kingdom service. The Spirit of the Lord says, “Return to My altar.” The altar of the Lord is where self-dies, pride is broken, and devotion is proven to Him. The Church cannot expect apostolic power while refusing apostolic sacrifice. There is no crown without a cross, no glory without surrender, and no fire where there is no offering. Today, God is raising a remnant whose sacrifice carries weight in the spirit. They will give when it hurts, serve when it is inconvenient, pray when they are weary, and obey when the cost is great. We understand we need to know how much we weigh in the Spirit! Our lives MUST become living sacrifices, holy and acceptable unto God. The Lord says, “What you place upon My altar, I shall multiply, and what you surrender to Me, I shall transform into glory.” Ask yourself honestly: How much did your sacrifice cost you? If it cost nothing, it may not have been a sacrifice. But if it required faith, obedience, humility, and surrender, then Heaven has taken notice. The hour has come to move beyond cheap offerings and return to costly devotion, for the fire of God still falls upon the sacrifice that costs something. May we burn so bright in the earth that it lights a pathway to our Lord, Jesus Christ!
