If You Believe There Is a God, Why Live Like There Is None?
It is possible to acknowledge God with your lips and deny Him with your life. Scripture declares in Titus 1:16 (KJV), “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him…” This is the tension many live in, they have confession without transformation. Belief that never confronts your lifestyle is not true belief; it is agreement without surrender. If God is truly who you say He is, sovereign, holy, all-seeing, then your life should reflect that reality. To believe in God yet live without reverence, without obedience, without pursuit, is to reduce Him to an idea instead of acknowledging Him as Lord. False prophets do this religiously. The truth is many believe in God intellectually but not relationally. They know of Him, but they do not walk with Him. In Matthew 7:21 (KJV), Jesus says, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father…” This reveals that God is not moved by acknowledgment your alone, He responds to your surrendered obedience. If you truly believe God is present, your decisions will shift permanently. Your private life at home would reflect His authority just as much as your public confession. Belief that does not govern your behavior is belief that has not yet taken root. So, the call is not just to believe, but to live like you know it’s true. If God is real, then holiness matters. If God is real, then purpose matters. If God is real, then compromise cannot sit comfortably in your life. Stop making excuses for short-comings and be converted. Embrace accountability. The same God you claim to believe in is calling you into alignment where your thoughts, actions, and desires reflect His will. When belief becomes real, it demands a response. And that response is a life that no longer looks like God is absent, but one that proves He is present. I hope you are encouraged because if you can believe it you can be it
GOD's SELECTION VERSUS REJECTION
The statement “Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated” appears in Malachi 1:2–3 and is later quoted by Paul the Apostle in Epistle to the Romans 9:13 as he addresses the mystery of God’s sovereign purposes. The immediate question Paul raises is: “Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid” (Romans 9:14, KJV). Biblically and theologically, the language of “love” and “hate” in Hebrew covenantal context often refers not primarily to emotional hostility but to election versus rejection in regard to covenantal purpose. This is seen earlier when God chose Jacob over Esau before they were born (Romans 9:11), “that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth.” The prophetic foundation for this choice begins in Book of Genesis 25:23, where the Lord told Rebekah: “Two nations are in thy womb… and the elder shall serve the younger.” Thus, the statement in Malachi is not merely about two individuals but about two covenantal destinies, Israel through Jacob and Edom through Esau. God’s love for Jacob represents the channel through which the covenant promises, the Messiah, and redemption history would flow. Theologically, Paul’s argument in Romans 9 is not that God arbitrarily condemns people, but that God’s redemptive plan originates in His sovereign foreknowledge and mercy. Scripture repeatedly affirms that God “declares the end from the beginning” (Book of Isaiah 46:10). Because He searches the heart (Book of Jeremiah 17:10), His election is never unjust; it is perfectly aligned with His omniscient knowledge of character, destiny, and covenant purpose. Esau, as revealed later in Genesis 25:34 and Hebrews 12:16, despised his birthright and demonstrated a disposition that did not value the covenant promises. Jacob, though imperfect, hungered for the blessing and wrestled for it (Genesis 32:24–30). From a Wesleyan perspective, this passage highlights not fatalistic predestination but God’s sovereign initiative interacting with human response God chooses the vessel through whom His covenant moves forward, yet individuals remain morally responsible for their hearts.
This New Testament Covenant is Yours!!
The covenant that you live under today as a believer in Jesus Christ is the New Covenant, established through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This covenant was prophetically promised in Jeremiah 31:31–34, where God declared He would make a new covenant not like the one made when Israel came out of Egypt. Under the old covenant (the Law), righteousness was based on external obedience; but in the New Covenant, God writes His law on the heart. This speaks of an inward transformationwhat 2 Corinthians 5:17 calls becoming a “new creation.” Regeneration is not behavior modification; it is a complete change of nature by the Spirit of God. This covenant is ratified by the blood of Jesus Christ. At the Last Supper, Jesus said in Luke 22:20, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is shed for you.” Unlike the repeated animal sacrifices under the old system, Christ’s sacrifice was once and sufficient. According to Hebrews 8–10, His blood secured eternal redemption, granting believers direct access to God. There is no longer a need for a human priesthood to mediate, because Jesus Himself is our High Priest. This covenant provides forgiveness of sins, cleansing of conscience, and a restored relationship with the Father. The New Covenant also includes the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers to live righteously. Ezekiel 36:26–27 prophesied that God would give a new heart and put His Spirit within His people, causing them to walk in His statutes. This is fulfilled in the New Testament through the outpouring of the Spirit. The covenant is therefore not just legal; it is relational and transformational. In Christ, believers are no longer striving to become accepted; they are accepted and therefore transformed. This is the essence of the covenant we now stand in: grace, access, transformation, and eternal fellowship with God through Jesus Christ.
LIVE IN THE OVERFLOW~Thank you Apostle SBB!
The Days of Divine Acceleration “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper…” (Amos 9:13). This is a season where God is collapsing time and accelerating manifestation. What once took years will now happen in moments, because the hand of the Lord is moving with unusual speed. The plowman overtaking the reaper speaks of overlap, harvest colliding with preparation, blessing meeting obedience without delay. You may have felt like you were sowing in tears, but according to Psalm 126:5–6, those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. What you planted in faith is now responding to heaven’s command. Do not be discouraged by the waiting season, it was never wasted; it was positioning. Overflow That Cannot Be Contained The scripture continues, “…and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine…” (Amos 9:13). This is not just increase, it is overflow. God is releasing abundance that will exceed your capacity to manage it in the natural. As declared in Malachi 3:10, when we are aligned with God, He promises to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing there shall not be room enough to receive. This is a prophetic picture of surplus, of resources, peace, favor, and divine opportunity flowing simultaneously. Where there was lack, there will now be more than enough. Where there was dryness, there will now be sweetness. Restoration That Secures Your Future This acceleration is not temporary; it is tied to restoration. In the verses that follow (Amos 9:14–15), God promises to restore what was lost and to plant His people securely so they will not be uprooted again. This aligns with Joel 2:25, where the Lord declares He will restore the years the locust has eaten. What was delayed, stolen, or diminished is being recovered with interest. God is not just bringing you into a moment of blessing, He is establishing you in it. Stay rooted, stay faithful, and stay expectant. The same God who spoke the promise is faithful to perform it, and this is the hour where promise meets fulfillment.
Monday, April 13, 2026 ~ The Power of Agreement
In Book of Amos 3:3, Scripture declares, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” This reveals that agreement is not optional saints, it is essential for movement with God. The Father is calling for us to choose a side. We cannot continue to walk in disagreement with the Spirit of God, His will, and His requirements while expecting to experience His favor and direction. True alignment means bringing our thoughts, desires, and decisions into harmony with His Word. When we agree with God, we gain access to His path, His presence, and His promises. Disagreement will create some distance, but agreement positions us to walk closely with Him. There are our NOW moments when agreement with God requires us to disagree with ourselves. Our feelings, past experiences, and even our own understanding can conflict with what God is speaking. Yet as Jesus Christ reveals truth, we are called to surrender every internal contradiction and come into alignment with His voice. This is the process of transformation, and we are choosing God’s truth over our comfort, His direction over our preference. It is not always easy, but it is necessary. Agreement with God will often require letting go of who we have been so we can step into who He is calling us to be. It is time for us to BECOME! Be strengthened today people of God because this is your moment to cross over into greater identity and purpose. CROSSOVER!! God is calling you higher, into the fullness of becoming His sons, as revealed in Romans 8:19 “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God”. This requires courage, obedience, and a willingness to become someone you have never been before. You have not been this way before. None of us have, and it is exciting to be chosen. As you choose agreement with God, even over yourself, you will find that He empowers you to walk in truth, newness, authority, and clarity. Let go of resistance, embrace alignment, and step forward boldly because in your agreement with Him, you are becoming everything He has called you to be. Sign the agreement with your Yes and seal it with your obedience. Amen.
