Jump in with NC or play it safe with chatGPT?
I took the NC class, and started adding things to the codex, but that's all. Even that was taking longer than I expected. I'm just about to start book 2 and have a tight deadline. I'm trying to figure out if it would be helpful to try NC now, or if it is best to stick with what I know (chatgpt) rather than waste time and energy learning a new system and possibly having to redo what it creates. I am one that heavily edits and guides everything chat writes for me. I create very detailed outlines and character sketches with chatGPT. Would I be able to add all that to the codex for NC to follow? I've been hearing that less is better, but then how does it know what I want? When I asked chatGPT about how we could all work together, it recommended using NC for the codex, proofing and revisions, but to stay with chatGPT for writing, since we have a good co-writing dynamic going. Not sure if it is impartial in this regard, or just trying to keep it's job.😉 I'm not sure the best way to use this tool. Any thoughts? I write closed-door romcoms, about 70K each.
