LLMs options
Is it best to use more than one LLM? Hey! I'm new and trying to get up to speed. I've been exploring/reading/learning from the wealth of info and it seems as though some people use more than one LLM. I'm wondering if one is better than the others or if it's a case of test and learn to see what works best for you? And as I write this, it feels kind of obvious but thought I'd ask.

I am using Novel Crafter with Open router (Use Claude Opus). I also use Perplexity (for some research) , Gemini (for outlining, editing, and cover art), and Chat GPT (keep forgetting I have it.),
Best LLM for romantic comedy?
Romcom authors... Which LLMs work best for romantic comedy? I've previously just used chatGPT but am getting started with Novelcrafter, which opens up all these LLM possibilities. What has your experience been?

I used NovelCrafter and Claude Opus. Had Gemini help me edit my Valentine's book.

@Rachel Radner you don't run into usage limits like you do with Claude on its own. I like the pay as you go. Gemini I get with my 2TB subscription. It helps me out with photos and editing.
Jump in with NC or play it safe with chatGPT?
I took the NC class, and started adding things to the codex, but that's all. Even that was taking longer than I expected. I'm just about to start book 2 and have a tight deadline. I'm trying to figure out if it would be helpful to try NC now, or if it is best to stick with what I know (chatgpt) rather than waste time and energy learning a new system and possibly having to redo what it creates. I am one that heavily edits and guides everything chat writes for me. I create very detailed outlines and character sketches with chatGPT. Would I be able to add all that to the codex for NC to follow? I've been hearing that less is better, but then how does it know what I want? When I asked chatGPT about how we could all work together, it recommended using NC for the codex, proofing and revisions, but to stay with chatGPT for writing, since we have a good co-writing dynamic going. Not sure if it is impartial in this regard, or just trying to keep it's job.😉 I'm not sure the best way to use this tool. Any thoughts? I write closed-door romcoms, about 70K each.

I am still learning NC. Sofar; I like it. It has all LLMs; you can pick the one you want/need for that chapter or scene.
Dreams, goals, chaos... what’s yours?
Random question for the group... What are you actually aiming for with writing + AI? Is it just getting more books finished? Playing around with different genres? Making money? Entertaining readers? Or something else entirely? I’m realizing we probably all have very different reasons for being here, and now I’m curious 👀 For me, honestly? I want to hit a bestseller list and get one of those fancy letters someday (ideally for a few different pen names LOL). What about you?

For me. I daydream everything out. Love to get them out of my head and onto paper. AI helps me with that. If I make money and/or sell a lot of books, then that is a bonus.
Mailing List Reminder
This is a reminder to clean your mailing list. I just did mine - and as sad as it was to see almost 5000 go to 4000 because I’ve been lazy cleaning it - I now have 4000 people who actually open my emails. MailerLite has a function to clean them if they haven’t opened an email in the last x number of campaigns. I used 10 and over 6 months I think. It might have been different - but it worked, took minutes, and also I’m now not about to pay more money for subscribers who don’t open my stuff.
