I’m headed out to run! I’ve been up since 3 AM - I just finished work, I’m tired, I want to shower and take a nap. Those are not bad things to do! I could very easily do them and it wouldn’t be a problem. Rest is good for us, after all… BUT! Yesterday was my rest day, so I can’t let exhaustion (and truthfully, laziness) control my day today. Every day can’t be a rest day! 🤣 I still have so many hours left today! An hour long run will not impact my schedule in any significant way. I also know I will feel more energized after I exercise. Plus, I have a goal I’m working toward - running a marathon next year - and a body to care for! So, I’m going running! 🏃🏼♀️👟 and THEN I’ll take care of my body with a shower and a nap!
