Busy Busy Busy
Its been incredibly busy over the last few months as many can probably see by my absence on here. So lets talk productivity and time management! When the shift goes from hammering cold calls trying to build your customer base to no more time for sales calls and 14 hour days of moving freight, a lot can get left in the dust. This is when special tools and structured systems come in to play big time! What are you using to help maintain prime productivity throughout your week? Are you switching to digital document systems like e-signatures through your tms? Are you subscribing to AI systems that can maintain your social media presence without your repeated attention day after day? How about your emails? Do you have separately categorized inboxes for each customer, or each type of email? Or do you have separate email addresses for each type of email like freight management and invoice management? All of these are key to staying productive, on schedule, and holding true to the superior quality of which you advertise to your customer base. Lets talk!

@Anthony Lanciano Not sure if I asked this before, do you have a recommendation for CCI provider. I have GL and E&O, but current provider doesn't offer CCI, thinking I may need to add CCI.

Wherever you are in your journey in this industry, make 2026 your breakout year. Whether it's moving 1 more load for that difficult shipper or getting in the door with that dream shipper. Make 2026 your year. The ones who will win will focus on resilience and mastering their Niche. Become an expert, be your shippers go to broker/agent. Plan, prep and execute. As extensions of shippers and carriers operations it is our job to give them the information needed to make wise decisions to keep their operations fluid. Listen to understand them to provide the best solution, and be that reliable partner.

10 Days to Christmas!
What's up team! With only 10 days left to Christmas are you preparing for any last minute loads that may come through? With the expected carriers taking off like usual, are you making sure you reach out to carriers you have used in the past during this time of year that may be able to help with any last minute loads your customers may need moved? Capacity is getting tighter and tighter as the days go on and will continue this trend until after the new year. What strategies are you implementing to help with any capacity shortages on your lanes?

I'm using this time to build better relationships with shippers and carriers. Not only does capacity tighten up due to carriers taking off. Carriers also put their trucks on UPS and Amazon freight for their peak season freight, along with the non-dom CDL holders and english proficiency crack down, these next few weeks are going to be more challenging. Being a broker we are an extension of their operations, both shippers and carriers. My plan is to stay on top of their mind with value ad cadence and Proactive Transparent Communication to establish myself as their go to broker.
