Garmin HRM600
I picked up a garmin HRM600 heart rate monitor, see how it goes. If anyone has a HSA account you can buy them from garmin with HSA funds!

What happens to Old shoes
Where do your old shoes go to die? Mine turn into work shoes until they are shabby and falling appart(kinda like @Vincent McGee normal old Nike running shoes look 🤣). So what do you do with them, mow lawns, donate, or just have a nice funeral for them and bury them in the garden?

What was the first time...
As we continue to build and grow ECRC, it is important that we all still keep the tight nit community that we have all helped create. @Rob Dunn had a great comment not to long ago, on how much stronger we will be as a club if we really truly get to know each other and who is ECRC... So with that said... WE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT EACH ONE OF YOU..... With that said, Today's "we want to know" questions is... Tell us about your first run? The moment that you decided to put on the shoes and go run. What did it feel like? What were your thoughts going through you head on that first run? and finally when you look back at it now what do you think to yourself? I’m not Totaly sure but I went for it while I was away at work. I didn’t wanna just get off work and go for a beer or sit in my apartment and watch YouTube/netflix. So I tried a run with a podcast and it just grew from there. Got to be a daily reward and break from the world. Once in a while I’d have a coworker join but mainly I enjoyed the alone time with just an interesting podcast. After that I bought a watch to track myself and new show. I figured if I spent the money then I better use the gear. Then it happened to be the next year I got a special mountain hunt tag and I kept going to make sure I was able to waltz in the steeps mountains without feeling dead. Now it’s just like a routine, not always a big run but just getting a few miles sure changes your mood. 😁🍩
