Welcome to the Pack! 🐺
You made it—welcome to the Pack Baseball & Softball Academy online community! Whether you’re here to level up your game, grow as a coach, or just hang out with fellow baseball and softball fanatics, you’re officially part of the family now. We believe in high-fives, hustle, and helping each other get better every day. This is your space to ask questions, share your wins (big or small), and learn from the best—on and off the field. Welcome to the Pack, coach — quick roll call. Drop 3 quick bullets so we can get you plugged in: - City/State: - Who you coach: (age + baseball/softball) - Your #1 challenge right now: (hitting / pitching / practice plans / parents / culture / recruiting) I’ll reply with one resource or idea for your challenge — and I’m sure other coaches will jump in too.

Dialing in practice plans each week gets hectic fast when drill sheets and schedules are floating in multiple places. I like storing full drill guides in Google Drive, then organizing weekly practice objectives using Floment AI task tracking so the staff stays aligned. Keeping daily routines in one visible space frees up mental bandwidth to focus on player development.
🚨 I’M BACK — AND I OWE THIS COMMUNITY AN EXPLANATION.
Coaches, It’s been way too long since I’ve personally posted in here. I’ve been watching from a distance, and I love seeing that so many of you have continued talking, sharing ideas, helping each other and building relationships even while I haven’t been as active as I should have been. First — thank you. And second… there’s a reason I’ve been so quiet. For roughly the last six months, a huge amount of my attention has been focused on building something that I believe could have a major impact on coaches, trainers and training businesses. And we are finally ready to start showing it to people. Here’s the problem we’ve been trying to solve: As coaches, almost everything we earn is tied to our time. One coach. One athlete. One lesson. One hour. Eventually your schedule fills up. Your best coaches fill up. Your facility fills up. And even though you may have years — sometimes decades — of coaching knowledge, your ability to share and monetize that knowledge is still limited by the number of hours you can physically work. We started asking a different question: What if your coaching expertise could keep working even when you weren’t personally standing next to the athlete? What if athletes could have more access to: • Your coaching philosophy • Your teaching methods • Your drills • Your standards • Your evaluations • Your feedback • The questions you would ask • The corrections you would make …between lessons, practices and games? And what if you could turn that additional access into an entirely new recurring-revenue stream for your coaching business? That’s what we’ve been building. It’s called ReplicAI•tor Coach™. The simplest way I can explain it is: Replace yourself with yourself. This is NOT about replacing coaches with AI. I have absolutely no interest in that. It’s about giving great coaches a way to capture what they know, amplify their impact, serve more athletes and build revenue beyond the number of appointments on their calendar.

Building out systems to scale your time instead of trading hours is such a massive hurdle for any coach. Getting those core workflows structured makes a huge difference once you start expanding your reach. I keep my program outlines in Google Drive and track the day to day execution tasks in Floment to keep things running smoothly.
The tools I’d use if I were coaching youth baseball or softball for the first time
When you’re a new coach, the hardest part usually isn’t knowing that you need to coach. It’s figuring out how to organize everything. What do I run at practice? How do I explain this drill? How do I keep parents updated? Where do I save my practice plans? A few tools can make that learning curve a lot easier: - ChatGPT / Claude can help turn a basic goal into a practice plan, suggest drill variations, or help you structure a practice when you’re not sure where to start. - YouTube is incredibly useful when you’re learning a new drill yourself. Sometimes watching an experienced coach demonstrate something is much easier than reading instructions. - Canva can help you create simple visual drill cards or practice sheets that you can keep on your phone and reference during practice. - Google Drive gives you one place to keep your practice plans, schedules, team documents, and coaching resources instead of having them scattered across your computer. - TeamSnap can take some of the communication headache away by helping with schedules, attendance, and keeping parents informed. - Loom is handy if you have assistant coaches. You can record a quick explanation of how you want a drill run instead of trying to explain everything through a long text message. - Floment is another option for keeping coaching resources, tasks, discussions, and useful materials organized in one workspace. The important thing for a new coach isn't having the most advanced setup. It’s having a simple system that lets you spend less time figuring things out and more time paying attention to your players. And honestly, you don't need to be the coach who knows everything. You just need to keep learning, stay organized, and create an environment where your players can improve and enjoy the game. For the coaches who have been doing this for a while, what’s one resource, tool, or coaching habit you wish you had when you first started?

Recruiting platform question
Good morning, I'm new here and have a question for whoever would like to give their opinion. Our boys are currently on Field Level, our team manager has discovered SportsRecruits and is now currently all in on it. So I would like any and all opinions on the two, and what is preferred. Thanks, Austin

Comparing different sports platforms when you are trying to keep everything organized can definitely cause a headache. We simplified our workflow by pairing Notion with Floment so all our project cards and task tracking live in one place. Having dedicated community spaces combined with clean task lists keeps teams aligned without the app clutter. Flowie handles progress updates smoothly while you focus on the core strategy.
