I have my first ripe pineapple and a new one is growing! The new one should be ready to pick before Christmas. Im surprised it finished ripening since the 1 picture was taken 2 days ago. This one had grown up in my house over the winter. I started the plant from a top of one I bought 5 years ago.

It’s dirty job but so necessary. I was gifted a bag of “clean” grass clippings so I got busy making this seasons Compost. I have not been nearly as careful as in the past so we’ll see how it goes.

These are a short n sweet variety of carrots. I will definitely be direct sowing them in the future. I really need a mortar and pestle for making pesto....it's a bit chuck. 😂😂

I have a fond spot for blue flowers and have made an effort to seek them out for the backyard. This “mystic spires blue” salvia was a clearance buy last year. The leaves were crispy, and it was just super sad looking and neglected in its little 4-inch pot. I eventually got around to transplanting it in the ground last fall and this year wowowow! She’s gorgeous! Do you have any success stories from “mostly dead” saves??
