What I’ve learned about trust in a relationship
I want to share an important lesson I learned about trust in a relationship and a mistake I made that almost cost me mine. When I first got with my partner, I thought I was 100% ready, but what I didn’t realise was that I hadn’t healed from my past traumas. Deep down, I still had trust issues… In the early stages, I started getting jealous and overly protective over the smallest things and that wasn’t fair at all, she had done nothing wrong. They were my problems that I brought into the relationship and expected her to ‘deal with.’ But the truth is, my partner had never given me a reason not to trust her. I was doubting her and trying to control situations because of my own problems. Sorry for the long post but what I’m trying to say here is that your partner isn’t responsible for healing your wounds. They will absolutely support them and help you with them but it’s up to you to ensure you don’t let them get in the way of a relationship as your partner deserves to be given that trust and that love from you. Not doubt and worry.

Sharing one of my biggest wins from this year
This year I was asked to do the best man for a wedding and you know what that means… the best man speech. You might think this would be easy for me, I’ve made loads of YouTube videos and presented for some of the biggest UK brands but here’s the thing, I still get nervous as s***. But I do it anyway. And this is honestly what I think separates the 90% with the 10%. We are all human. I get sad. I get happy. I get nervous. I get excited. I feel all sorts of emotions, it’s normal! But actually taking the action and doing the thing despite how you feel is what truly makes you GREAT! So I knew that when my best mate asked me to do a speech I would be absolutely terrified but I said yes because if I want to reach my goals and speak in front of a bigger crowd, I’ve gotta start by taking a small step. Thanks for listening to my TED talk. Please share a story of when you were absolutely terrified of doing something but did it anyway under this post! I would love to hear your stories and inspire others.

@Mark Winter it’s terrifying but definitely an honour man yeah! Yeah I put some jokes in there which made it really fun! The best advice I can ever give is, short but really memorable! Loads of fun jokes (never about other women or past relationships though😂) but also some really sentimental parts too
