šŸ“• DAY 12 DEVO — HUMILITY IS STRENGTH UNDER CONTROL
ā€œGod opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.ā€ — James 4:6 Pride is one of the most socially acceptable sins among men. It hides behind independence, toughness, and self-reliance. But Scripture is clear: pride doesn’t just slow a man down — it puts him in direct opposition to God. And no man wins that fight. Humility is not weakness. Humility is strength under control. A humble man doesn’t think less of himself — he thinks rightly about himself. He knows who he is in Christ, and because of that, he doesn’t have to prove anything. He doesn’t posture. He doesn’t compete unnecessarily. He doesn’t deflect correction. He doesn’t pretend to have it all together. Pride says, ā€œI’ve got this.ā€ Humility says, ā€œGod, I need You.ā€ Pride isolates men. Humility connects them. Pride blocks growth. Humility invites grace. Pride refuses help. Humility receives wisdom. God does His deepest work in men who stay teachable. Men who listen. Men who ask questions. Men who invite accountability. Men who repent quickly and course-correct without excuses. The strongest men in the Kingdom aren’t the loudest or most impressive — they’re the most submitted. They understand that true authority flows from humility before God. If you want God’s favor, power, and direction in your life, the pathway is clear: humble yourself. Not once. Not occasionally. Daily. ACTION STEP Identify one area where pride has been keeping you from growing. Examples: - Refusing help - Avoiding accountability - Deflecting correction - Holding onto offense - Acting like you don’t need guidance Today, humble yourself intentionally. Ask for help. Admit a weakness. Invite feedback. Repent if necessary. REFLECTION QUESTION Where has pride been limiting my growth, and what would change if I chose humility instead? PRAYER Father, strip pride from my heart and clothe me in humility. Keep me teachable, submitted, and aware of my need for You. I don’t want to be impressive — I want to be aligned. Shape me into a man You can trust and use. Amen.

Ouch and hallelujah! I've preached many sermons over the years and said the words which are true that selflessness doesn't mean thinking less of ourselves but rather thinking of ourselves less. Humility is the path forward in many of our situations, scenarios, and adverse circumstances. Help me Lord!
šŸ“• DAY 11 DEVO — SPEAK LIFE. YOUR WORDS BUILD WORLDS
ā€œDeath and life are in the power of the tongue.ā€ — Proverbs 18:21 A man’s words are never neutral. They are either building or breaking. Strengthening or weakening. Breathing life or breathing death. You don’t need to be loud to have impact. You don’t need to be eloquent to be powerful. But you do need to understand that your voice carries weight. God designed men to speak life: into their homes, into their marriages, into their children, into their brothers, into themselves. The enemy loves silent men. Silent husbands. Silent fathers. Silent leaders. Silent believers. Because silence creates confusion, insecurity, and spiritual dullness. But when a man chooses to speak life, he becomes a thermostat: - His words set the atmosphere. - His tone shapes his home. - His encouragement becomes fuel. - His declarations create clarity. Your wife needs to hear you tell her she is loved and valued. Your kids need to hear your affirmation, pride, and blessing. Your friends need your encouragement. Your own mind needs to hear Scripture spoken aloud. Men don’t realize how powerful it is when they speak life into themselves: ā€œI am who God says I am.ā€ ā€œI walk in strength today.ā€ ā€œI refuse temptation.ā€ ā€œI am becoming the man God built me to be.ā€ ā€œI am a protector, a leader, and a man of God.ā€ Your mouth trains your mind. Your words align your heart. Your voice directs your steps. If your words are negative, cynical, sarcastic, passive, or harsh, they will shape your environment and weaken your spirit. But if your words are grounded in truth and spoken with intention, they will strengthen your home and sharpen your identity. You don’t need more talent— you need more intentionality with your voice. ACTION STEP Speak life into ONE person today — out loud. Choose your wife, your child, a friend in the challenge, or even yourself. Say: - ā€œI’m proud of you.ā€ - ā€œI believe in you.ā€ - ā€œI’m grateful for you.ā€ - ā€œYou’re growing stronger.ā€ - ā€œGod’s working in you.ā€

On one side of the coin I am a Four Step Evangelist. To preach and teach people that they might be saved to the uttermost, sanctified wholly, full of the Holy Ghost and fire, faithful and fruitful members of the body of Christ. The other side and the way I have the opportunity to do all that in cooperation with the Lord is to Examine myself daily. Evangelize the lost. Edify the found. Expound unto all the way of God more perfectly. On the other hand I am a Tentmaking Preacher. I teach Christians and especially those in the ministry how to build online businesses while at the same time getting unstuck and gaining traction, clarity, and momentum in their faith, fitness, and finances. It's called Operation Godly Gains.
šŸ“• DAY 10 DEVO - PURSUE GOD DAILY, NOT OCCASIONALLY
ā€œDraw near to God, and He will draw near to you.ā€ — James 4:8 DEVOTIONAL Most men want a strong faith… without a strong pursuit. They want clarity… without consistency. They want spiritual power… without spiritual discipline. But the truth is simple: You cannot become a man of God by accident. Every strong man of God you respect—past or present—became strong because he pursued God daily. Not perfectly. Not for hours at a time. But consistently. The enemy doesn’t need to destroy you. He just needs to distract you. Because a distracted man becomes a drifting man, and a drifting man becomes a defeated man. But a man who draws near to God daily becomes dangerous. He gains discernment. He gains stability. He gains emotional strength. He gains clarity in decision-making. He gains resistance against temptation. He gains a sense of mission and direction. Daily pursuit isn’t about checking a box. It’s about building a relationship. Your wife needs a man connected to God. Your kids need a father anchored in Scripture. Your future needs the wisdom that only comes from time with the Father. You don’t have to spend an hour in the Word. Start with 10 intentional minutes. Bible open. Phone away. Mind engaged. Heart humble. When you pursue God daily, you don’t just become more spiritual—you become more stable, more purposeful, more dangerous to the enemy, and more aligned with the man God built you to be. God is not hiding. He is not distant. He is not playing hard to get. He is waiting for you to draw near—so He can meet you with strength. Today, choose pursuit. Not tomorrow. Not when life slows down. Not ā€œafter the holidays.ā€ Today. ACTION STEP Spend 10 focused minutes alone with God today. Bible open. Phone in another room. Ask these three simple questions: 1. God, what do You want to show me? 2. What do You want to change in me? 3. What do You want me to do today? Write down what you sense. REFLECTION QUESTION What excuse has been keeping me from daily time with God—and what does my life look like when I remove that excuse?
