๐ฎ Spell Saturday โ The Key Turn ๐๏ธ
Hey, loves. Saturn's day. Spell Day! Let's work. Tomorrow the moon reaches its Last Quarter in Aquarius โ the exact halfway point between full and new. Light and dark in equal measure. The ancient Greeks called this the crossroads of the lunar cycle, and it's no accident that Hekate rules both. Last Quarter energy is for releasing. Cutting. Letting go of what's been weighing on you so the waning crescent can carry it away. And with Pluto freshly retrograde in Aquarius since Wednesday โ the buried things are already rising. So let's meet them at the door. ๐ฏ๏ธ THE KEY TURN โ A Spell of Release ๐ฏ๏ธ You need three things: โ A key (any key โ old, new, decorative, your actual house key) โ A black candle (or any candle โ the intention matters more than the aesthetic) โ One sentence you're ready to release Light the candle. Hold the key in your dominant hand. Close your eyes. Say out loud: "Kleidoukhos, Keeper, Turner of the Lock, I stand at the gate. I turn. I knock. What is done is done, what is bound I free. What lies behind shall not follow me. Three turns of the key, three gates I close. Where the torch leads now, only Hekate knows." Turn the key in your hand three times. Each turn is a gate. Each gate is something you're leaving on the other side. Blow out the candle. Set the key down. Walk away. Don't look back. She doesn't need you to. That's it. Simple. Ancient. Done. โค๏ธโ๐ฅ Torchlight For Today โค๏ธโ๐ฅ "Her torch is my beacon towards this new crossroads. Accepting Her offering of a key, I unlock the gate and step through, while Her torch lights my way." โ Cyndi Brannen, Keeping Her Keys ๐ Saturday prompt: Did you do the spell? What did you release? Or โ what do you WANT to release but haven't been able to yet? Name it below. Sometimes saying it out loud in a witnessed space is the first turn of the key. En Erebos, Phos. In darkness, light. Blessings, Tirza ๐ฟ๐๏ธ๐
