🔥 Wisdom Wednesday — The Seven Gates 🔥
Hey, loves. Pull up a chair. This one goes deep. Today Pluto stations retrograde in Aquarius. Five months of descent begins now. And this isn't new. Humanity has been telling this story for over four thousand years. Before Persephone ever set foot in the Underworld, there was Inanna. The Sumerian Queen of Heaven heard the call of the Great Below and walked willingly toward it. At each of the seven gates, the gatekeeper stripped something from her — her crown, her lapis necklace, her breastplate, her gold ring, her measuring rod, her garments — until she stood before her sister Ereshkigal completely naked. No title. No armor. No identity. Only what was left when everything else was taken. She died on a meat hook in the dark. And she was reborn. A thousand years later, the Greeks told it again. Persephone descends. Demeter grieves. The world goes cold. And who is the one holding torches at the threshold between the living and the dead? Hekate. She heard Persephone's cries when no one else did. She guided Demeter through the search. And when Persephone finally rose, it was Hekate who walked beside her — torch in hand — as companion and witness. Same story. Same bones. Sumer to Greece to right now. Pluto asks the same thing Ereshkigal asked Inanna at every gate: What are you willing to surrender to become who you actually are? ❤️🔥 Torchlight For Today ❤️🔥 "One torch shows a person where it is they currently stand. Mercy, miracles, present. The other shows where they might go, severity, mysteries, future, a warning and foresight. In this manner she reveals the path of transformation to those who enter her realm of darkness.” -Me lol 😅 👇 Wednesday prompt: Pluto's descent begins today. What gate are you standing at? What's being asked of you — to remove, release, or surrender? Drop it below. Even one word. She's listening. En Erebos, Phos. In darkness, light. Blessings, Tirza 🌿🗝️🌙
