📚 Want Your Child to Actually Remember Quotes?
Most students recognise quotes… but can’t recall them in the exam. That’s the problem. So I’ve created something different 👇 🎯 Dual-coded quote sheets for: • A Christmas Carol • Macbeth • An Inspector Calls • Power and Conflict Poetry These combine visuals + key quotes to help students remember faster and recall under pressure. 💡 Why this works: Students remember images + words together far more effectively than just reading notes. 🎁 I’m giving these away FREE, but you need to complete 2 steps: 1️⃣ Comment below with: Which texts your child is studying (e.g. Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, Jekyll and Hyde) AND one word describing how they currently feel about English (e.g. “stressed” / “confident”) 2️⃣ Like this post 👍 I’ll then send the resources directly to you. Let’s make revision easier AND more effective 👇

Parents — feel free to join in too… Which one does your child sound like right now? 😅

Important Update: Focused Weekly English Language Lesson (Sunday 5-6pm)
As we move closer to the GCSE exam period, we have been reviewing our live lesson schedule to ensure we are delivering the most effective and impactful support for students. Over recent months, we have been offering multiple live lessons each week, however due to lower attendance across the midweek sessions, we have made the decision to move to one highly focused live lesson each week on Sundays which will be dedicated entirely to GCSE English Language. This allows us to concentrate our time and energy into delivering one powerful, high quality session each week that focuses on the skills students need most in the final months before their exams. These Sunday sessions will focus on: • How to analyse unseen extracts effectively • How to structure Grade 7–9 responses • Creative and transactional writing skills • Exam technique and examiner expectations • Building confidence ahead of the real exams English Language is one of the subjects where students can make significant improvements in a relatively short period of time, but this comes from practising the right skills consistently. With only a few months remaining, this weekly session provides an excellent opportunity for students to strengthen their skills, build confidence and prepare effectively for their GCSE exams. Students who attend regularly between now and the exams will be in a much stronger position than those who do not. I strongly encourage students to take advantage of these sessions and commit to attending weekly. Please comment below if your child will be joining this Sunday’s lesson. It'll be great to see as many of you there as possible 😊

Let's have some fun - GCSE Texts as Coffee Orders ☕
Which GCSE character would order a pumpkin spiced latte? Who’s definitely a black coffee person? List a few: - Scrooge: Cold brew. No milk. No joy. - Sheila Birling: Oat milk flat white with a shot of self-awareness. - Macbeth: Double espresso... for the murder plans. - What would your GCSE character be drinking? Let's get creative. I would love to hear your ideas below.
